Very true kazanne and also as I said earlier I don't think Conors answers to her were clearly controversial enough to be shown since we only got to see a very small snippet of the conversation.
Like others I dare bet he said a lot more as to the issue but clearly no argument came from it between them so it was likely in the main not considered highlight worthy.

It also seems that whatever his reasons were, Deana could likely make no challenge as to them,(and she would have done if she could have),since when they came out things were still calm and no one even referred to any of it.

Exactly, I have really tried to like her but like with my real favourites I can see the worng they do and not defend it, as well as see the good they do which I do defend.
With Deana though,anyone who criticises her is committing the crime of the century as to many she hasn't got a single fault, would never do anything against anyone and is all perfect. Well, no human being is that perfect.
Without a thought others favourites,other than Deana are hammered left right and centre which is fair game but no one must say a word against Deana,that is unfair and unjustified.

There doesn't seem to be any worship here. just people forced to defend her agsint the endless utter noncence that gets put about by a select few. which may make it seem that way. id defend anyone of them the same even those i hated.
deana is the best out of a very very awful group of people. i dont love her i like her as most of the others i despise.
personally i like her for standing up for herself while the others were too busy caring about winnning. plus most people would of walked in her position, grace under fire i think she's a decent person
the humour is also the most real in the house and natural among the outsiders. not forced i.e becky cono arron etc.
there's bad points but they are very minor. at present anything can change

I think it all comes down to the very first night of the show. Deana nominated Conor and he has never forgiven her for it. Since then, he's been constantly looking for revenge by attempting to turn people against her. Says quite a lot about him as a bloke that he can't just get over it.

Called out for it?? I respectfully disagree. He was given a lecture, he mumbled an apology and he was off on his merry way. I sincerely hope that he learns that what he said was not acceptable and warrants serious repercussions for him in the real world. As responsible adults we simply cannot say those kind of things in the public sphere, and then expect people to forget about them when we offer a half-a$$ed apology and blame it on the heat of the moment. No, much more should be required from Conor to get himself out of this ugly mess.
