Calvin Harris has revealed that his next single will feature vocals from Florence Welch.

The pair's collaboration is called 'Sweet Nothing', Harris revealed in an interview with Q. It will be his next single after 'We'll Be Coming Back', which features Example on vocals and is released on Sunday (July 29). Scroll down to watch the video.

The pair previously collaborated when Harris provided a remix for Florence and the Welch's track 'Spectrum (Say My Name)'. The single has spent the last two weeks as the UK's Number One, mainly thanks to sales of Harris's remix.

In the same interview, Harris also revealed that two artists turned down 'We Found Love' before Rihanna recorded the song and made it into a Number One. Discussing the track's history, he recalled: "It was going to be the third single off my new album and I needed a vocalist, so it was like, Anyone want to sing on this? Then someone said, 'I do', and it was Rihanna. Two other people could have released it, though."

Despite the single's success, Harris admitted that he is still too shy to accept Rihanna's offers of friendship. He explained: "She's tried. She's like, 'yeah come on and hang out in my dressing room'. I'm like, 'Arrghh!. I mean what do I say to Rihanna? There's nothing! She's great, she’s well friendly, she’s nice, I see that. But…I can't. I'm from Dumfries, man!"

This might take a couple of listens.

I usually love Florence' singles on the first listen, but I wasn't like OMG WOW with this.

Is there any point in him releasing an album anymore since hes already released half of it and the release is still over 2 months away? :suspect:

pretty much the opposite of the Teenage Dream promotional circuit then  just doing it all BEFORE the album's out. (fingers crossed this isn't rereleased with "3 new songs" in 2013 :p)

Is this the official version? It sounds like a basic remix you hear on radio on a friday night http://www.bimmerteam.hu/forum/images/smilies/uhoh2.gif

Apparently he's collaborated with Rihanna, so that will inevitably be single number 6, and after that the re-release wouldn't surprise me at all.

Ironically the album is called '18 Months', which happens to be the time between the lead single and the album release dates

this song's grown on me... not quite as good as We'll Be Coming Back or Feel So Close, though.
