It was a bit weird though when she said it! I mean, yeah I wouldn't like it everywhere either but I do like my chewing gum and especially considering the way she banned it - I'd be annoyed personally! And yeah I don't think the others will listen either Mike lol :tongue:

If they can't be bothered to wrap it up and put it in the bin then not having it on a shopping list is fine.

Not that I'm going to make a habit of defending her, she brought it up quite well by being a bit jokey and smiling when she said it.

I did think her reaction was a bit extreme, but what else could you do. If people are being dirty and just spitting out where ever they are?

You wouldn't spit on the floor inside, so it's not much better, so why would you spit out chewing gum inside?

I think her comment was to make people think what they are doing.

I personally think whoever puts the gum on the floor or the nearest place is disgusting. Getting gum in your hair or touching it full of germs is nasty. if they have gum they should learn to use a bin.
