Could do without Alice all together to be fair, some of her small comedic segments can be slightly amusing but she is a horrible interviewer in my opinion, she doesnt listen to what guests really say she just sort of looks for a window to try and be sarcastic and tonight she failed at reighning Caroline in, I think Emma would have done so much better.

Mental health issues? ADHD? Suicide risk?!! She is the most slovenly creature I have ever beheld, so that rules ADHD out, as it isn't situational. And there's nothing a psychiatrist can do to help someone without a mental health issue. Just as Mother Theresa was kind and altruistic, there are also people in life who are self-absorbed, nasty pieces of work. Caroline didn't like being hated, but instead of looking at why this was, has carried on with what seems a habit of a lifetime and minimised others' opinions, with a clear underlying perspective of "anyone that doesn't like me is clearly a dick, and takes life too seriously." That is her choice, and I repeat, not a mental illness. Finally, as for suicide risk, is that a tad dramatic? She has chosen not to care what others think, she thinks everyone else is dumb, and loves herself far too much to do that. I'd be more worried about her parents and neighbours being at risk, now that the vile cow is home.

Thats because when she views people as unimportant and doesnt feel they deserve an explanation. It s obvious this is how shes always been in her life and its quite sad. I woke up feeling so bad about how he was acting and completely think there is defenitely something wrong. Someone who speaks so badly about herself and says she has no "redeeming qualities", plus seems to have accepted it to the point of refusing to change is quite sad. Especially seeing that she has her whole life ahead of her. I wonder what happened to her.

Everything can point to a disorder. Caroline is capable of empathy as shown by her crying when Scott suffered a bereavement of some form. She bitches and doesn't care because she thinks she's better than those she has bitched about. She's clearly not been through the criminal justice system so her socially unacceptable behaviour is not linked to a conduct disorder, and she's not on the autism spectrum. Hence, no diagnosis. Stop medicalising everything. She's just nasty, and whether she ever decides to change is completely up to her.

Such reasoning is fine for people who do not work in the caring professions and simply have to decide whether they want such a person in their lives. I certainly know AS IS I would not want to associate with Caroline socially.

However I DO work in the caring profession and as such empathy and understanding are key traits/skills. So I will say she needs help and possibly meet her in the future and others can say she needs dipping in a volcano and be on their merry.

I am also very worried she will NOT get proper help because her parents may well think help = medication. This is fine for many medical problems but very rarely true for many mental health issues.

Yes there are many professionals who see it solely as a job rather than a vocation and that saddens me. Of course empathy and understanding are general human traits and not the sole remit of ANY group.

People do nasty things because they are miserable and don't know how to cope with the stresses in their lives.
