I looked at the odds for winner and was shocked to see Richard is the least popular housemate, next to Suzie. Apparently, even Jayne has more support than these two. I find that sad.

To me, every time I watch the programme, he seems to be genuinely comforting someone. Those of you who hate him call it a game plan, but I just can't see that. He was full of genuine emotion when Lea left and really had tears in his eyes. He is clearly not a selfish person (as Nikki) and cared for Lea as the tears showed. He is constantly taking Nikki to one side to look after her and his chat with Pete yesterday was very endearing.

He is always welcoming to new housemates and his positive opinion of Suzie has not changed.

He was also extremely funny on the highlights show today. He was hilarious with Dikey, then warm and caring with Nikki.

I also agree with his opinions on Dimodim and think he comes up with ingenious anecdotes about her. Perhaps he has taken it a bit too far, but I think she grates on him a lot.

The problem is that he is a well spoken and intelligent person and is just a kind father figure. He is not 'common'. Almost all the housemates in there ARE common...Nikki, Ashleign, Mikey, Dimodim.....they all fit a broad stereotype in society, ie: a young, shallow personality enjoying the materialistic things in life. There is little depth to them. Unfortuantely, the Brtiish public are also mostly like this. (Where do you think the term 'common' comes from?), so people like Nikki will be liked by many, as will Dimodim, just because she is 'well fit', as I have so aptly seen it put. Richard is far from common. Hence, he will never get far.

My take on it anyway.

Richard 2 win.

In terms of his odds he's not underated. He beat Lea by only 3%, that says it all really. He has a few too many b*tches about Glyn for my liking.

I really disliked Richard for the first week, but since then I've warmed to him. He has a great sense of humour, especially when he's describing the plastics an Imogen in particular.

I do find the alpha-male thing rather tiresome at times, but on the whole I think he' OK.

I'm not a big fan of Richard but prefer him over the likes of Jayne, Susie and Imogen, i reckon he will last a few more weeks at least yet unless he does something that makes everyone dislike him.

I'm starting to like Richard more, he can be a really nice guy and come's out with some funny comment's but the bitchy and vindictive side of him make's me dislike him but he seem's to have toned that down recently.

he is a bit of a slime ball, i didnt like the way how HE had to nurture Pete when Lea went, he keeps taking people to one side.

Yeah he told him to go and lie down on his own just so he could be the one to comfort him.

I can't stand the way when ever Glyn isn't around he slags him off. Wait til we see his nominations tomorrow he'll slag him off calling him thick and a disgrace to Wales etc.
