When does everyone think the first eviction should be? I preferred it when the first eviction would be Day 15 and there'd be a live task week 1, means we get to see more of each housemate and make valid opinions then Day 4/7 evictions, wish they returned to this method.

Yeah I agree with that, why lose a potentially good HM because we don't even know them yet? It's stupid

Week 2 evictions are much better
gives everyone time to fully settle in and judge their housemates for nominations, also gives the public more time

having an eviction the 1st week is ridiculous - esp when ya loose a Victoria and get a beached whale in their place !!

Glad i'm not the only one who thinks it's stupid, culling potential good HMs Day 4 (Victoria/Beinazir) / Day 8 (Tashie, Stephanie,Bonnie etc) is dumb. They should give everyone a good two weeks.

I think more housemates and more evictions. They're the best thing about the show!

Not when HM potentials are wasted though, I mean in BB10 we didn't even get to form an opinion on Beinazir

The first eviction should be at least 7-14 days in to at least give us a clue as to what they are like.

At the very least it might stop the great stupid unwashed constantly claiming that they were the most amazing housemates in the world and that everyone but themselves were stooopid for voting them out.

In some Big brother Africa's they didn't have the first eviction until day 21 :O

I think 8/9/10 days would be fine, but I wish they'd stop doing an eviction 4 days into the series. No chance at all to get to know someone.

There's no point to it either, they could just hype up a decent live task and do that then have live nominations after the task.

Personally I think evictions shouldn't start until the second week - gives everyone a chance to settle in and let their guards down a bit so we can see what they are really like.

I like to get to know the HM's properly, get them settled in for 2 weeks then have an eviction, i like that i don't like having an eviction 2 days in to it that's not fear on the HM's that took ages to get in there.

Exactly my point, what is the actual point on getting rid of one so early on :conf:

I remember in BB5, the first proper eviction wasn't until like Week 3.

I remember in BB5, the first proper eviction wasn't until like Week 3.Yes it was day 29 before vanessa was evicted.
kitten and emma were thrown out before the public got chance to have a say and vote that seems mad now.

I wish they'd just give all the housemates more time together. :bored:

Said it many times, but hate early evictions and would love to see none for the first two weeks at least.

I think the biggest mistake they made this year was noms the first night. It got conor and Lydia defensive and scheming right away and no one trusted each other in the house from that point on. I was going to start a thread about it but this is the perfect place to say it :)

I like having the first eviction anytime between Day 10 - 20

it takes 3 weeks to see what people are about so toss the 4 boring sods out at the end of the 3 rd week
