View Full Version : What will happen if they BOTH want to push the button?

This wasnt explained as far as I am aware.
They would be absolutely stupid not to want to take the 50k over the final pass. Neither are dim enough not to realise that this is a guaranteed 50k, whereas the final pass is a 1/5 chance of 50k. So IMO they will both want the cash and to leave.
What will happen then? Will the main HMs have to chose one?

I'd assume either the first to press it or the remaining housemates decide

I think it's a countdown but why would it be stupid? For some people it means more to them to get to the final and possibly win than the money and the way Conor is going surviving four evictions, he probably thinks he's got a pretty good chance.

Luke S should remind Conor he needs to win the show for all his fans like he said... :pipe:
Seriously though they should do what Jack said in another thread and not let them discuss it just whoever hits the button first.

They will have to play Jenga to decide.

So they say to endear them to the viewers.
Its all about the experience isnt it...
When in reality, they are all in it for the cash

Emma said on BBOTS 'IF one of them leave tomorrow'.... so I take it that if they both decide against it and choose not to take the money then they both go back in the house....ad no one gets a free pass either....which would have made the whole task a complete waste of time.
I thought maybe the housemates would decide if they couldnt but then why would Emma say 'IF...'
I have to say the lat two nights have been soooo boring!!!

Not a complete waste, they both end up looking good by passing up the money.

Hopefully wise Luke S presses it first, takes the money and leaves like the legend he is.
Whilst Conor returns to the main house, thinking he's going to win the show for all his fans back in Northern Ireland - and then he'll finish like 3rd.

I think I would go in Big Brother without the money prize. If I was in Luke S position where he was in the bottom two last week, then yeah I'd take it.

I like Luke S, but if he does do that, then I hope someone challenges him over it seeing as he tried to make out that Deana was a gold digger just because she earns her own money and is career minded. Something that is praised in men..
I hate this twist. But I'd like it if the one who decides to take the money actually loses it and it goes to the other person - who can also go back into the house...

Id rather Luke S take it.
Id snap at it, 50K! With only 50K for the winner left in the game, absolute done deal.
What happens if they don't want the money, another twist down the pan.
As if!
In the unlikely event that one of them says 'no, that would be taking money that belongs to the winner voted for by the public' then that person will have upped their chances of winning by a big leap.

It would be better that Luke S took the money. Yes, it will mean that Conor gets a free pass to the final, but he won't win it, imo. If he takes the money and runs, he'll be back in Derry to a hero's welcome before tea.
I'd rather see him evicted at 5th place to a booing crowd and, hopefully, having to answer for some of his actions in the house.
