No matter what my opinion is of a HM inside the house, when they are interviewed I try to keep an open mind and see if they honestly redeem themselves.

Conor - not a nice person, he had to be pushed by Brian to squeeze out any sort of apology regarding his vile rant towards Deana, even then he made excuses about it. Didn't seem sorry to me.

This is how I look at things as well. A lot of the people I've disliked in the past have been lovely and funny in the interviews, totally different than in the house. But Conor, Becky and Caroline were not able to redeem themselves in the interview.

It kind of bugs me that people say that Luke A. and Adam are genuine people but for example Conor isn't. Conor is - but genuinely something negative. The only good thing was that he said that Adam deserves the money but unfortunately he kind of backtracked on that and turned to Ashleigh. That is Conor for us!

Conor doesn't deserve the money! That money is tainted.

I think he's going to regret it but that regret is not coming from the right place. He's going to regret it because of how it made him look and what people think of him (eventhough he says he doesn't care what people think).

But he said it came out of anger. That is not an acceptable reason. There is no acceptable reason to let something like that to come out of anyone's mouth. What else might happen out of anger?

Just like you, I still hope he's going to make good choices, not just with the money, but altogether in life. He didn't seem like he's going to learn anything from the experince but I hope he will.

Ever heard of the non apology apology? There are several ways it's done but I'm thinking specifically of the 'if apology'. He used it whenever he was called on to apologise. I waited until his interview to see if he would actually apologise but he never has. Apologies don't start with 'if'.

Did you ever wonder if BB felt guilty about showing that clip in the HL show. Maybe they did not realise just how much the public would be outraged. They could have warned him "internally" but maybe thought it would have good entertainment value.

Maybe the slight guilt they felt over this has been one reason why he has ended up in a position to win this money.
