yeah , he gave Conor every opportunity to see him move....shows much conor had got inside his head with talk of reaching the final as his main goal...luke s never believed conor would press the button, :joker: on the other hand it looks like he is quite gullible, he fell hook, line and sinker for the agent task....so conor didnt need to do much.

I'm glad you posted this OP, I was starting to think I was watching a different programme to everyone else. The general consensus in the house and on BBOTS was that Luke S was about to hit the button and Conor did it first. Nobody seemed to notice that they both hit the button and Luke definitely thought he'd won. I remember seeing his look of elation turning to weepy despair when the BB voice congratulated Conor. Until then the twit thought the cash was his. He even gave Conor a crafty gloating glance.

Never liked Luke S, but watching his pathetic performance over the £50k confirmed what I already thougth about him. Shallow, whiney, selfish and self-obsessed.

lol Conor gave him all the chance in the world to press it. They had 60 seconds. After it stopped at 50k he didn't press right away. Why would Conor wait and lose the chance to get it if Luke S didn't? I'll have to rewatch it but I don't think Conors press was a reaction to Luke S beginning his arm thrust at the button. I think Conor genuinely was like .. I ain't letting the time run out and losing the chance with ya bud.

Yes, it's an American thing like counting one one-thousand, two one-thousand, three one-thousand, when trying to accurately estimate the number of seconds that have gone by.

In Luke S' case, he could not concentrate and at some point counted 17, 18, 19, 16, 15, etc.. or some crap like that.
