I notice that most of BB girls this year arent exactly poor. Not that it matters.
Laurens parents - own and run potato farm business
Ash parents - when Jamie E visited on bbots I noticed they lived in a large house in what seems to be an affluent Essex neighbourhood. Plus Ash has admitted that she gets supported by parents when her bar work money runs out.
Siobhan - dont know her post Playboy career is but she has worn Prada and Jenny Packham outfits and Manolo shoes and David Clulow shades (designer), how does she afford this???
Deana - hard to fatham. Deana born in NE not most affluent regions. Father died when she was young. Mum seemed to struggle raising deana as single mum moving to Brum. Deana spent time in india and got motivated to make money. Pursued modelling and set up businesses. Self made.
Caroline - parents could afford not just private school but boarding school. We know she lives in a Surrey mansion and lets be honest BBs poor budget us first time Caz has ever struggled for cash!
Sara - late father was a successful financial investor from what i can gather. She admits she has no uni debts despite graduating so shes not exactly on bread line
Becky - seems to have regular working class Blackburn background. But she wasnt chosen - wildcard

Farming is not nearly as lucrative as you seem to think.
Whether it be arable or pastoral neither make much money, in fact, most farmers barely break even, unless of course it is a huge farm

I am struggling to get the point of the thread. What has people's backgrounds got to do with anything? Ashleigh said last night, "Deana has got everything going for her including her own business, what is she doing on Big Brother?". Well, Big Brother isn't a benefits system, entry is not means tested.

It may or may not make a difference but you can tell in people's comments about the cash grab if they have ever had to worry about their next meal.

Yeah, I don't know a single rich farmer. Most of them make enough to live off and are generally from a family of farmers where the property is handed down.
I'm intrigued by where Siobhan gets her money, wasn't she just a waitress at the Playboy club?

Off topic. There is no housemate called Siobhan. It's Shievonne. It's in the list of BB13 housemates at the top of this page on the left. Ty.

Just goes to show good parenting is not how much money you throw at a child.
Those girls are an embarrassment to their families, educationally, socially and emotionally stunted.

Sara went to good private school and top private college.
Ash's dad has that 'working class Essex man done good' aura, Ash home looked large.

Who do you think put in the twenty four hour care of the children? The magic fairies? Working is easy. Twenty four hour breast feeding and nappy changing whilst barely being able to walk isn't. Mother's can't ring in sick in the morning if they haven't been to bed in days on end or because they are ill, unlike Fathers who do when they're milking a common cold. Believe it or not, the 'magic fairies' aren't going to cook, clean, do the laundry, hoover, all of the housework etc., and sit up all night and day breast feeding and nappy changing the baby..
If anyone doesn't get any 'credit whatsoever', it's the hardworking Mothers. Who slogged their guts out day and night looking after the children and the home. Like Your Mother by the sounds of it. But hey, money is more important, isn't it? As long as the Father is chucking money on the table then he's more 'hardworking' than the Mother...

Lauren's family own 'the biggest farm in Jersey' (quote from her). She also said her dad pays for her uni.

Why are you being so patronising? the truth never suggested that fathers work harder than mothers...

It isn't the 'biggest'...Her family are not even the biggest supplier of Jersey Royal potatoes...
