I like him being everyone's friend. I don't know why being a good and fair person is a negative.

I think he just doesn't do a lot that is controversial. Also I think that our society is still a little misogynistic and we don't pick apart every little thing a man says/does/wears, what other people have said about him etc etc etc. If Adam were a girl there would be a thousand threads about what a fat bore he is and how fake he is for being nice.

Also I think it's easier to comment on someone who you can be somewhat sure was raised like you were, and Adam is more American. It's hard for anyone to know what ruler to use to measure him by.

For me I think that Adam is great. He has taken when he knows in life and made himself a better person who continues to try to grow.

Obviously he doesn't say this but his reactions say it imo. Adam is Mr Cautious or Mr Careful Strategy. He's approaching this as if it's US BB and he doesn't realise the public voters don't always want perfection or generic behaviour. Bad*ss HMs can often survive an eviction battle if they are interesting, witty or entertaining - see BB9 Rex, BB10 Freddie and Marcus and of course BB12 winner Aaron. Sara just says 100% what she thinks the public want to hear but probably won't win.

Maybe Adam's fans are laid back like him, and don't feel the need to shout their support from the rooftops. He has likely made the final, so I am sure he is happy with that as I expect his fans are.

Rubbish.....that look is "what IS the big deal?". Not having seen BB before, as he said, he went in there thinking all he had to do was sit around with 15 other intelligent people having a laugh and some great convo's. His life has taught him to contain his anger, but to stand up for himself and others when necessary - eg. Aaron - twice, Shievonne - twice, Connor etc. He's not about to compromise those hard learned lessons for the vicarious pleasure of a fickle public. BB is temporary - life outside is forever.

I would not say he was pointless, but he will have the least interesting 'best bits'. He's kind of the new 'stop Deana' candidate now that Ash and LukeS are no-hope of winning insiders, Conor and Becky are out, Sara and Scott don't get enough through series AT to really get to know them despite being featured more for last 2 weeks. Adam is a sort of compromise candidate. Insiders will be sort of OK if he wins (he's a hetero cis gendered male). His supporters are mainly made up of 'he's ok, he's meh, he's not Deana', kind of supporters. No real passion for him to win, but more passionate about LukeA and Deana not winning. Conversely Deana and Luke A fans won't mind but obviously would back their own first.

As a human being I have a lot of respect for Adam. Up until a couple of weeks ago, I wanted him as my winner. Since then though I have seen some nasty little moments from him - usually when anything looks like rocking the boat for him to float through.

Saying that, I would like him in the top three alongside Deana and Scott. I used to be very negative about Scott until someone on here commented that he reminded them of Stewie Griffin...now I can't look at him any other way, and it cracks me up :shrug:

Precisely, who knows. It could be nothing more than Tax evasion for all we know. So the point I am trying to make here is it is not good if we start making snap judgements or assumptions about that really. Goodness, some Politicans and Stars and newspaper owners/reporters do underhand stuff, that gets looked into. They might not all get convicted, but they are still criminal activities nonetheless surely. Anyways, housemates should really be judged on their value in the house to fans, not their outside past activities. And lets face it we know very little with no live feed of what acually is going on in the house, just edited versions of some of it. Was it Shavionne? who said what are we seeing? Deana was much more fun than she was being shown. So maybe Adam is also.

Let's be honest, throughout series 70% of threads have been about Deana one way or another (ala Aaron last year). About 2% Adam (even Scott is more talked about now). To win BB vote to save is similar to vote to win ie positive vote and ultimate final vote to save. So HMs need to do stuff to win. In the final the anti Deanas will have to find a HMs to unify in the battle to stop Deana.

Adam, Luke S, Ash, Sara and Scott are essentially 'Stop Deana winning' HMs rather than pro-Adam, Luke S, Ash candidates. Chuff aside, Luke A is the only one who is liked independently of Deana imo.
