Yes, I think they would like her to drop the 'soldier' stuff. The other night Adam told her they wouldn't carry on with it if she was to go and she didn't look too pleased.
When Deana is spouting her opinions in her high handed way, Adam and Luke A don't respond much to her and Adam has walked off on several occasions when she was being argumentative and abrasive to people.

They all needed more strength in numbers so banded together into a voting block, but I think they now see the whole soldiers thing and the praying as an embarrasment, especially after it was revealed to the whole house. I don't think Luke A and Adam were ever really friends with Deane, but I don't think they minded her company until recently. I think Adam is possibly seeing her as the one responsible for the divide continuing so long.

She is more "eye for an eye" and socially tone deaf than I would like her to be, but but I trust that she will grow. She certainly does take the advice of her friends. They are true friends and let her know when she is out of line.

It's possible, she's an annoying drunk. But then most are. She's under no illusions though. I don't think she's a huge fan of Luke a and Adam. She just gravitated towards them out of need. I don't think that feeling has changed.

Funny that as I thought the entire house was full of 2-way mirrors and all they look at is their own reflection.

Hmmm .... didn't realise that they now have full blown glass windows with cameras and camera operators standing in full view of the HMs and filming their every move and producers directing exactly which camera to look into so they can position themselves in a room accordingly. :wink:

I've noticed that every single one of them has looked directly into the camera at some point many times but there's a big difference between looking at the visible cameras that they can see inside the house which move and film their every move and looking at themselve in the mirrors and so indirectly looking into a camera positioned behind the mirrors.

The point that is being missed is not what Deana does in particular but the WAY she does it and her MANNER when she is doing it. Her arrogance and superior air is off - putting; she sets out to publicly humiliate (as with Luke S and Sara); she made fun of Luke S and Scott instead of just being straight and discussing what is on her mind with them - and it took Luke A to get her think about what she had done with Luke S and apologize to him - she couldn't see how she had done anything that wrong until he spoke to her at length about it.
She closely watches and monitors people to to pick up on something she can question them about and expose them. I find that the most horrible trait of all.
She swans around the place as if she is above everyone - it is obvious she is used to having 'servants' (what an awful word to use in this day and age). She just has this arrogant and smug persona and a lack of human empathy that makes those who dislike that kind of person dislike her. It's perfectly understandable.

I don't blame them if hanging with Deana is in their mind damaging their chances. She has got herself into all sorts of situations in her time in there and often it's been her fault. Mostly with the noms talk. And this NuDeana is much worse and just comes across as embarrassing.

I love assertive confident women - my wife is one and I admire and adore her more that I can say. She knows the difference between being assertive and confident and being belittling and arrogant. She is also warm and kind and funny but would never use cruel humour like Deana did. Maybe the comparison between my wife and Deana (who is being praised for her brand of 'assertiveness and 'confidence) is just too stark for me and that is why I now dislike her so much.

yes that was luke s lowest moment, the difference is though, we all on here agreed he was in the wrong and being a total idiot in the argument, so I and many other posters are more fair minded and willing to look at both sides of situations....whereas yourself and some deana fans refuse to be so fair minded....what she is doing with her vindictiveness towards luke, scott, sara (she tried to humiliate her for no reason) trying to adam on sabotaging the shopping and goading him into an argument , shes tried to corner several times, is plain nasty and makes her as bad as everyone else...

not sure if deana is the "dopey" one. if your using the textbook definition of the word dopey then i would say ash and sara are miles ahead of deana in the dopey department.

dopey is usually used to describe someone that is acting somewhat slow, or stupid or mentally not with it. deanas def not stupid, shes not slow, and shes actually mentally pretty sharp.
