How did he audition for the show?

I always wondered this. How did John James manage to audition for BBUK? Cause he was living in Australia at the time, right? He did say he would move over to the UK for Josie, which kind of hints at the fact that he was living in Australia, plus he said in his VT that he flew over here from Australia.

Are people allowed to audition for BBUK from abroad, provided that they pay for the flights to attend auditions and stuff on their own? I'm guessing this is how John James did it?

I remember he flew over for the audition after finding out BB was ending & I guess he was accepted

I think his parents or one of his parents were British weren't they, so he was probably eligible to audition and maybe he had relatives he could stay with during the audition process or something, or he just kept flying there and back, had loads of money from somewhere didn't he :suspect:

Oh I didn't realize that, I thought he was fully Australian. So even if you're not a resident, if you have a passport you can audition? Yeah I reckon he was pretty rich though because he did say he didn't need the money and that he travelled only in Business class cause he didn't like the seats in Economy :p
