Well done Channel 5, you've had your way :bored:
Wonder if this will cause a domino effect in other Big Brothers across the world now
Ryan.

Tbh I think it's more likely Endemols hip new policy than anything to do with C5

You can't deny Channel 5 has been instrumental in the death of the live feed concept - they have publicly admitted they have the money to run it if they want to.
I'm not necessarily saying that BBAU wouldn't have axed the live feed even if we still had one, but I doubt it's mere coincidence.

Channel 5 won't bring back theirs now BBUK's no longer the only one not to have one (not that they were ever going to).

I don't care if BB AUS doesn't have it, what I do care about it [as Sid said] is that any chance we had of getting our Live Feed back, is gone.
Because now they'll think 'Oh well it's now the new 'in' thing to not have a Live Stream' or 'We're not the only country without it now. It's not needed' etc

I think Nine doesn't want all their chips in BB for now. If it's a hit then BB might have live feed later.
Remember BBAUS had been off the air for 4 years. Fans are probably glad that they even have the show on again.

We thought that about Channel 5 axing BBUK's.

Uh, there was never really a break. With the Aussie version there is.

No, but Channel 5 had just as much reason to be cautious, with non-imports rarely doing well for them, BB getting less than the 2 million they wanted from it during it's last pre-axe series, them having tried to copy it before and it having lost them a lot of money, and BBUK having lost more than half of it's audience in just a few series.
If anything a break would probably have made them less cautious, it would have given viewers a break and helped them forget about the race row.

Channel 5 spreading their piss poor production around the globe I see. Didn't Jeff Ford talk to some senior figure over there and laughably advise them that it's 'worked perfectly' over here in the UK?
That ***** seems set out to destroy Big Brother formats even on the other side of the planet.

The AU live feed was terrible from what I remember, they blocked out huge chunks of conversation, totally unwatchable.
I would prefer the option of an extended daily show, or something like that.

It's annoying too because the highlights are primetime so arguments and general conversation will be cut.

They have to have something to do with it. Less work to do, even more money they can pay themselves. BB has always been quite a cushy business anyway with the millions made, and if they think they can get away with giving the audience even less they will. And as the audience have increasingly seen through the producer's manipulations they will want to cover such things up, wouldn't surprise me if the American one did the same now.

they aren't going to get rid of BBUSA's LF. Trust me, They make a lot of money off the feeds which are 30 bucks a months. And BB is a cash cow for CBS

there's already been one, titled Loft Story, but it was in French.
they are making an English version which begins in February.
Also, it'll be based on the US version so there's no doubt it'll be good.
