Tattoo's [&&] Piercings

Thought I'd start off a topic as I'm getting my first tattoo on Friday :hello:
I've got my ears, bellybutton [&&] tongue done.. dont want anymore piercings.
Getting a tattoo of Betty boop above my ankle on Friday.. not sure how many more I'm gonna have after this one, definately want a Leo sign and my date of birth undernearth.

Anyone got any tat's/piercings?

No i only got my ears and my nose pierced, i want a tatoo but im scared of needle type things

I have several tattoos - one very large one on my back that took about 4 hours, one on my foot one on my arm, one on the right side of my tummy and I am not telling you where the other one is :hugesmile:

You really need to be sure that you are getting the right tattoo for you, what might seem fun now might not be so good in a few years time, each of mine kind of says something about me! the one down my side says "only god can judge me" in chinese it is very pretty but not to big just in nice petite writing.

Make sure you make the right choice is the best advice I can offer you, remember a tattoo is for life not just for christmas!

Personally i think only boys should have tats unless you are emo or goth

Also for reference they do hurt and anyone that says they dont is defo fibbing to you! it isnt unbearable though it is just a shock the first time you get a one done when you have built yourself up to getting it!

Well.. I got it done on Friday..
and I was expecting the worse pain everrrr.. so it came as a shock when it felt just like slow scratching on my leg.. didn't exactly 'hurt'.. just a bit uncomfortable for the first ten minutes, then you get used to it.
Saturday was baaad.. it was burning up and itching like mad.. and today it's started to scab over so everythings good.. even starting to think about my NEXT one!

No tattoos as yet but in the past I've had many a piercing: two navel piercings (top and bottom), my nose which I've had done about a hundred times 'cause it kept closing up lol, two lip piercings, a madonna piercing and a septum piercing which I still have.

and tattoo's coming along great, just started to scab over and now it's itching like hell and driving me mad becase i cant itch it!!!

Has anyone suggested to you that you should put Preperation H - the pile cream onto your tat? it is a really good way to help healing and helps reduce scabbing etc... slap it on a couple of times a day will also stop the itching.

I would recommend using savlon for your tattoo and saline/oral B for your piercing.

Most tattooists now recommend prep H and not Savlon as it is a little to greasy!

Getting your septum pierced can't be a very nice experience! I would make a joke about an activity Pete does in relation to it but I won't. :angel: :bigsmile:

I got it done, and it hurts a wee bit, not much. I found my tongue was more painful than my nipple.
