The title of your thread modified should read everything that is wrong with the "CULTURE" of this country.

You are correct this country is in an ever declining culture of not appreciating or indeed understanding right from wrong. Some twisted people will cheer on bad behavour and claim it's entertaining.

Bad behavour in stories and films is where bad behavour should stay. Bad behavour in real life and the tolorent excuses made for it now a days is indeed a sign of the ever decaying nature of our culture.

I think the fact Americans dont vote for who to evict makes a huge different. Viewers watch for entertainment and how contestants play the game not to judge a person and despise them to make yourself feel better.

There's really no logic to this.. 70-80% of attractive girls get booed in and out from the house, so obviously you're pretty damn wrong, however a man can threaten to punch and rape a woman and gets 50/50 cheers. This is because of silly little girls in the audience screaming for any and every attractive man. Just the way it works

This is a pretty good analysis. I want to add something I have noticed as an American watching British TV, for some reason when you get in groups you seem shockingly mean and rude, for such a nice people one on one.

It's like America around Christas time when driving and everyone is dangerous, cutting people off, angry cursing, going through red lights and then you go in the stores and everyone smiles and wishes everyone else a Merry Christmas. The same lady can be screaming and red face and steal your spot in a parking lot and then smile and act nice and gracious and let you go in front of her in line at the store.

I think that during at time when you are expected to be nice/perfect then the bad side really comes out when you can be "anonymous."

Americans are a lot more sensitive to 'group think' you would almost never see a crowd ganging up on someone else without someone saying "whoa whoa whoa guys lets stop this now." I am not sure whats different about America's history and culture that makes us realize that one person telling you that you are a **** bag isn't a big deal but ten people saying it at once can be quite damaging no matter how true it is.

I suppose the same imputus which causes Americans to be bold to each others face, also causes us to stop a whole crowd if we don't like how they are treating someone.

With a stretch, I can understand cheering for attractive people eventhough I'm more interested in the personality and personal growth but finding Conor attractive is something I will never be able to fathom.
