Fight Club, quite a bit. I like it but it's not some spiritual awakening that every teenager wants to make you believe it is.

oh and Brokeback Mountain. Gays on a mountain. That's literally all that happened. And there wasn't even explicit sex  total waste of time.

and its annoying when people say oh its the most _______ movie ever (ie depressing) because just no

even though thats kind of ignorant because everyone has a different idea of what is depressing but i just want someone to explain to me why requiem is so great/depressing because i dont think it is :nono:

i read so many opinions about it and most of them were calling it the single most depressing movie ever :nono:

anyone who does not agree that philadelphia and mysterious skin are more depressing than requiem needs to leave because they are wrong

oh and the last two oscar winners - The King's Speech and The Artist. Self-indulgent, dull bollocks. Drive, The Social Network and Black Swan - and Midnight in Paris were robbed :idc:

The Godfather and Avatar off the top of my head.

Fast Times At Ridgemont High is another liked film, not in the same bracket as the aforementioned though, but still liked.

Michael Clayton won like 5 Oscars and got almost universal praise, yet its the dullest film I've ever seen in my life. :conf:

The Social Network was really disappointing as well.

Barely anyone I know has seen that lol I don't think it's overrated or underrated, it's just kind of there.

I was really disappointed in that film, I thought it was depressing.

Also I think American History X is very overrated, it's message was racism is bad and for uneducated people, and that was it.

Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, I found it to be a real letdown.

The newer Batman films are a good way to spend an evening but pale in comparison to the old ones

Nicholson's Joker is the greatest villain of all time
