That doesn't make him a hero, people risk their lives in war in Afghanistan and loose limbs defending us, they're the ****ing hero's not Gary Barlow, dickhead
Well the fact that he's performing days after his child was born dead is pretty brave, SMithy

The definition of a hero is not only those who fight in wars abroad. Overcoming tough personal triumphs also makes you a hero.

London will go down as one of the great games however not the GOAT games for a couple of reasons some not there fault
Not there fault but the athletics was a bit of a letdown in terms of general excitement and WR
However the blame does fall on them for
A. Having Spice fuken Girls perform
B. Beady fuken Eye performing an Oasis classic
C. Mo Farah cringing up the place

12-08-2012, 11:24 PM
I thought the Ceremony was okay at best, nothing on the opening one of course. There was too much wasted potential, why was Emeli Sande and Jessie J featured so much? Why was Russell Brand there at all? Why have Ed Sheeran perform when he does nothing but kill the buzz? WHERE THE **** WAS KATE BUSH AND DAVID BOWIE?! Even more so why was there so little time devoted to The Beatles and none to the Rolling Stones? I'm not even gonna give time to One Direction or Kaiser Chiefs covering Pinball Wizard.
Also lol at Beady Eye appearing to cover an Oasis song.
It was a bit of a mess really.
Shaun
12-08-2012, 11:28 PM
I didn't even notice the lack of the Rolling Stones... and come to think of it I don't remember them at the opening ceremony either :(

It's a celebration of british music....she hasn't done anything to warrent being in there...
Well obviously she has, she performed in Beijing & Is a world-wide superstar who has sold millions of records. More relevant than half the people that were there.
shE HAS MADE NO LASTING IMPACT ON BRITISH MUSIC NOW GET OUT
You're mixing up you're opinion up with pure facts, shes made a huge impact.
who the **** is leona?
Stop trolling
I heard she was already booked for a gig at Butlins.
Stop trolling , It's very tedious..
Leona as talented as she is, has no relevance anymore..

could have been much better, the upside was the queen parts were moving, the who were fantastic, glad to see liam gallacher there for wonderwall,
downsides , spice girls miming yet again, just awful, too much jessie j and her silly exagerrated vocal gymnastics, just sing the song already, also where were other legends? david bowie, paul weller, ian brown, tom jones, rod stewart, morrissey, noel gallacher (turned it down because he demanded to sing live and not be dubbed supposedly), stereophonics, elton john, dido, the list is very very long.
