Interview: Jamie answers your questions

Earlier today we asked our readers to get in any burning questions they had for our delectable Big Brother's Bit on the Side presenter, Jamie East. Many of you obliged, so we edited out all the marriage proposals and put the twenty best ones to him. Here are his answers...

Would you ever go into the CBB house - and could you handle it (from @Toby_UK via Twitter and Mary Rattle McHum via Facebook)?

I could handle it easily! They'd never let me on though - I know too much about how it works and would probably have an unfair advantage!

Your Wildcards were excellent - 6/7 should have been in Big Brother rather than some housemates. Will you be doing Wildcards again (from @Fudgenuts via Twitter)?

Thanks, Fudgenuts (great name, BTW)! I really enjoyed the whole process of picking them all. Don't know what the bosses have in store for next year yet and probably wouldn't want to do an exact repeat of the wildcards, but you never know!

What's the best cure for a hangover (from @xxxzombie69xxx via Twitter)?

Cold pizza, Lucozade and a... No, I'd better stop there.

Is it difficult staying neutral when you really dislike a housemate (from @etsyjellyfish via Twitter)?

Yes! It's very difficult to be impartial as all the presenters are fans of the show first and foremost. It's impossible to please everybody though. We've received criticism for 'ignoring' Deana which I don't see as being the case.

Would you shave your head for £50,000 (from @OozmatoozG via Twitter)?

I'd do it for £50.

What's your favourite type of cheese (from Eamon O'Donnell via Facebook)?

I'm partial to a bit of gooey Gorgonzola from Selfridges. God, I sound a right ponce.

Do you think that the winning of £50,000 by Conor was done fairly (from @_cewhitehead via Twitter)?

It was the most controversial moment of this series. Something like that would be impossible to 'fix' or steer towards a certain housemate, not that we would ever do that. No-one had any clue what was going to happen. All the crew were as amazed as the viewers! In terms of fairness, it isn't Big Brother's job to distinguish what is fair or not. Life is sometimes unfair and not all people are agreeable to everyone. Big Brother represents life in that respect.

Who do you think is going to win the Big Brother (from @kel4kel via Twitter)?

Haven't got a bloody clue, although I would imagine it is a very close call between Deana and Adam. Both would be deserving winners for very different reasons.

Who do you think the best housemate has been so far (from Karen Hanlon via Facebook)?

There have been some crackers. Lydia was awesome, wasn't she? Deana has consistently caused a rumpus which is always good in my books. This year though I think they have all been a great blend of laughs, bitchiness and gameplay - a vintage year!

Which Big Brother was your all time favourite (from Hannah Sonia Buckley via Facebook)?

I'd have to go with either Victor or Brian Belo's year.

Are you Mr Snuggles (from Casey Parker via Facebook)?

The similarities were there, but I think he uses a different moisturiser.

Which task has been your favourite (from Emma Casey via Facebook)?

The laughing task was awesome.

Is Duane Chapman (AKA Dog the Bounty Hunter) going into CBB (from Shaquelle Brown via Facebook)?

Now now, you don't expect me to answer that truthfully, do you?! I'm not even sure if dogs have to go in quarantine at Heathrow still...

Do you agree with a ban on talking about nominations (from Jet Anderson via Facebook)?

Yes, although the sudden turnaround early this series really changed the whole competition. They've not been able to help themselves though, have they?!

What has been your favourite bit of this year's Big Brother and why (from Lorraine Cameron via Facebook)?

I'm biased, but I loved Becky's entrance. I was standing the other side of the Diary Room door when she ran in and could hear the carnage!

Who do you think has been playing the biggest game - and have they succeeded (from Louise 'Loopy' Silk via Facebook)?

I think they've all played a game, with the possible exception of Sara and Adam. Deana and Luke A have clearly been the most successful at theirs!

If you could choose one housemate to re-enter the House who would it be and why (from Jake Opuz via Facebook)?

Conor to see what Luke S would say to him about the £50k!

Do you feel personally hurt by Becky's performance (from @gkirby001 via Twitter)?

Nah, not at all. She wasn't massively popular with the public in the last few weeks, but she still lasted eight weeks, which is great for a wildcard!

Who do you think will make the most of the £50,000 prize fund (from @Ditzee17 via Twitter)

Well Luke A probably has the most life changing thing to buy, so I'll say him, although Adam has indicated he will use his to continue his helping kids with drug problems so I'll go with him too.

Why are you so God damn sexy (from @Frogface29 via Twitter)?

Hahahahaha, you wouldn't have said that if you'd seen me making breakfast in my pants this morning, but thanks for the props

Terrible questions, and even worse answers. If Deana wasn't being ignored why was she the only finalist who didnt have a segment on BBOTS?

I love him. And TBH on the panel when he is on, he's the only one who contributes any valid points or has anything of any interest to say.

Other than try to constantly make jokes like the rest of the panellists do.

Why didn't they put all the housemates in the white room then :idc:

To be fair, it was down to who got the least nominations. They had no way to predict that. I'd rather Conor hadn't been in there and had the opportunity to win £50k, but I don't think BB fixed it for him.

Oh gawd, here comes the tinhats. If Deanna fans are this unhappy when she is about to win, imagine their state of mind if things hadn't worked out.:joker:
