2 transgendered winners

I know it's a PC thing to say, but I just think it's really cool & amazing that both a male and female transgendered person have won Big Brother UK.

It shows what a wonderfully open-minded country the UK can be.

Agreed, and it really meant a lot to Luke A. I wanted Deana to win, but Luke A really deserved it and showed how accepting the Great British public are. :)

Exactly. It's like any transgender that goes into BB will win. Anyone with a story will win. It pisses me off- especially as Luke A was quite boring.

well you're wrong i'd say. it's harmed his confidence and self esteem a lot. those are important things to have in life but hard to get if you don't naturally possess them.

i was just saying this, it's nice to have some diversity. people that watch big brother are an open minded bunch i would say.

I've seen one episode of BB5 (day 1) and Nadia did more than Luke A did all series

It's not really wonderful. It's a joke that you have to have a story behind you like that to win the show.

I don't think this is the case with Luke A though - I think you're right in the sense that we accepted him. But he told us his story very early on, we took it in, and that was great and then people just grew to like him I guess.

2004 was a different matter altogether and I'm still angry about it, and the fact is - that disgusting bully wouldn't of won if she wasn't a Trans. But yeah.

She was in a series full of AMAZING housemates [Like Luke was] - and she only won because people felt sorry for her.

Because she milked her sob story for the whole Summer, and had to make a big deal out of it being a secret.

We all know Big Jason would of had it in the bag had Nadia of not of been Trans.

I disagree 110%. Nadia was a WAY better and more entertaining housemate than Luke A. Nadia was one of the biggest characters that series and nobody else was more deserving. Jason never would have won, he was a boring arsehole. You need to admit that you only hate her because of what happened with Coolio.
