I thought 'why not' lol. The first show got 1.62 million in the 19:00 hour,*most watched launch show since at least 2006.

Agreed. This is the first BBAU series I started watching, but it's really boring. Thought it would be more like BBUK tbh.

BB AUS was ruined ever since BB 06 when two housemates were thrown out for sexually harrassing a female housemate, I was hoping Channel 9 would push the envelope but so far it's just the same kiddy Big Brother we got for BB ''07 and ''08 on Ten.

We have to remember, BBAU's ratings are over 1 million which is great for Australia. It's Nine's second highest rating show.

yeah the rating are high right now but give it a week or two and the fad will be over, i acutal got sick of watching the whole nomination twist crap and turned over and watched xfactor :dance:

very correct. people only like on the coast's of the country, with small towns with little population scattered throughout . Most of the country is desert and bush land..

It's hard to compare viewing figures between countries, cause not only are there different population numbers, but also every country has different amounts of channels, so for instance there are a lot less channels in Australia, so they have fewer options. While in the UK or US which have larger populations there are also far more channels to choose from.
