I need gif help

I've never understood GIFS.

In basic instructions, how do I post a GIF lets say off tumblr?
How do i put a GIF in my avatar?

They have to be under 122.1 KB to work properly, but it's pretty much impossible to get the size that small without them being tiny or horrible quality. The admins need to make the limit higher.

I think the limit is fine. I've never come onto the forum and thought to my self... this forum needs more gifs...

Gifs are funny in individual posts, but having to see the same gif on a constant loops over and over and over again in someone's siggy or ava is annoying and distracting.

Did you put the URL where you'd normally put a picture? Like in between the :)

If you right click on that image and click copy image location and then paste that between the part, it should work.
