I'd be p*ss off to compete in BB (especially given the way Deana and Aaron BB12 were treated by production) only to be told that 50% was being taken away. Last year Alex and the others shared £50K (she got £30K and a chance to compete for the other half). This year Conor got WR prize.

I know BB can 'change rules at any time' but technically speaking BB could take the prize AWAY altogether and scrap the prize fund. Or allocate certain amounts to particular HMs eg Deana will get £20K if she wins, LukeA £50K, LukeS just £1 - BB would therefore give LukeS an amazing edit as he'd be a cheap payout for a win.

One thing BB should never mess with too much is the cash (unless it's an increase) or if the prize fund is high eg £250K then I wont mind if it's reduced or split. The winner this year got less than Nadia way back in BB5!

Yes. They should stop messing with the prize fund. I've felt that way since the very first time they did it. The prize fund should go to the person who is voted the publics winner. They can give cash prizes as part of tasks and that'd be fine but rubbish like the White room where they gave away half the winning pot is ridiculous.

Have to agree, if you enter a competition, which it essentially is, with a promise of 100k that should remain the prize. As you say, bb have the right to change the rules and hms would see from previous shows that the prize money can change. But ... endiing up with half of what was promised and the other half going to someone who did absolutely nothing to earn it except press a bliddy button - not on imo.
