I was disappointed when Julian nominated Mike. I was hoping that they would become the unlikely pairing of the series. There was comic gold waiting to happen when they were in the DR.

Fingers crossed for more of them together…

Julian is a great wit, wickedly funny with humour as dry as a bone. Mike is unintentionally funny and I'm definitely laughing at him. I don't see the pairing as anything but an opportunity for Julian to get the better of Mike on every level.

We all know that Julian wits are as sharp as a knife. But its always funnier when there is something blunter to strike it off. Because each positive action makes them sharper.

Wow how is that for an analogy? :D

The 'comic gold' all came from Julian though, whoever was in the DR with him would be a good pairing.

It was Julian who was the comedy gold, most of which went right over Mike's head.

:laugh3: in a parallel universe maybe!

That's not bad for Saturday morning, I have to admit.

Julian will realize his mistake soon and beg for the Situation's forgiveness

Unintentionally, yes.

Loved it when they were saying, ah poor Mike etc in the bedroom, implying he's been led on by Danica, and Julian piped up with "He's hardly the Virgin Mary!" :laugh2: Quote of the series so far.

I'm really hoping we can get some of the vacuous camera-hoggers out so we see a bit more of Julian. Have you read his autobiography, Kate, "A Young Man's Passage"? Highly recommended.

For someone who apparently doesn't know anything about The Situation - he sure seems to know a lot.

I'm not one of them. Mike has made me laugh but Julian makes me howl

I think Julian was just a little intimidated in the Situation's presence, he looked starstruck by him

It was just a blip on our Julian's part.

He'll be soon loving our Mike, just like the rest.

That must be it. To be in a real superstar's presence :laugh3:

I think Julian sees Mike The Situ as competition. Loads of (younger) people may not appreciate Julians old school camp humour funny. Whereas Mike represents what a lot of "da yoof " find hilarious.

IMO Julian outclasses Mike by a million miles. I don't mind Mike but when it comes to genuine with they are not even on the same planet!

Haven't found Julian that funny so far except for the Davina line on launch night. Mike, Heather and Julie have been more amusing so far.

Julian will rip the piss out of that inflated american ego on legs!

The thing is Mike doesn't seem to have any sort of issue with Julian or any housemate for the moment, he even cooked with Julian for all the housemates, I'd say that was a bad move on Julian's part.
