:( I wonder whether she was holding on and felt some relief at the fact her son's body might be found soon and was at ease.

Apparently she didn't know about the letter Marc,I hope if they do find him they will bury him according to her wishes.

It's just too sad! I just can't imagine what kind of life she's had. :(

I love my little boy so much I can't even put it into words... and the thought of some evil bastard harming him and me having to spend the rest of my life wondering what he went through or where his wee body was cruelly dumped just makes me want to bawl my eyes out!

yes, if anyone ever hurt my child I would hunt them down if humanly possible and seriously hurt / kill them. My life would be over anyway, my son is my life

This was really sad to hear today, really the person who got the real life sentence here was poor Winnie Johnson herself, deprived of her young son and never given the dignity of being able to lay her son to rest the way she always hoped to and that she never gave up hope of doing so.

A remarkable lady, as for Brady, all I can see is he lost his liberty,as to who suffered more from this crime, that for me is pretty easy to work out and it for sure is not him.

Rest in Peace Winnie. If there is a Heaven, may you meet your son there and be reunited at last.

Poor woman, what a life she must have had :(

This is so sad, I hope the family in her memory attempt to find Keith's body. Then they can rest together.

This may sound unethical..But part of me wishes they had lied to her and said they had found him...just to ease her mind before she went :(

It is a toughie, my daughter says no, to lie to her would be wrong. And if its true there is an afterlife and she does meet him...She will be upset she was lied to.

Its a tricky one isnt it? I never, ever believed in anything after life until i lost my lovely sister last year, I went with my daughter a few months ago to see a medium (Ive been to dozens over last 20 years ,ALL a load of rubbish) honestly the things this woman told me was unreal ,the little details, I was sobbing ,its changed my mind, and im not 1 iota religious, but this lovely woman has lifted such a weight of my shoulders ,SO glad i went, but I said when I came home ,thats me done, no more Sally Con woman Morgan,or Derek Achorah ,my mind is not at rest ,and I KNOW my sister is with me

I hate to even try to comprehend what torment she has gone through all these decades,
While they got to be overall looked after.
I would have had Brady and Hindley as part of their sentence have to dig every day on that moor until the body was found, just those 2,no one else helping them, that may have shaken their memories as to where the poor lad was buried.
