I viewed a clip and it was Not Funny.
Also it was on Late
Why could they not show it at 8:30PM?

I don't see how its any different from how they were portrayed in east is east or rita, sue and bob too?..
Is it set in the 80's? in bradford the ladies all looked like that with thick khol eye pencil on their eyes.

Some may like it
but other Muslims

saying:

The BBC shows it at 10:20PM on Mondays.
So they do not want young children watching it.

Its meant to be a Comedy
but its not funny - thats the problem.

It was not funny at all. The thing is, a lot of comedies are based on stereotypes, so I don't really see the need to complain. Some may find it funny. People complain about anything and everything these days. It's a fictitious family comprised of fictitious characters in a fictitious situation. Or am I missing something?

It had its moments but I found the protagonist a bit shouty and forced. Don't be surprised by this; people complain about everything
