Bad Sugar is a British comedy series, written by Sam Bain and Jesse Armstrong (Peep Show, Fresh Meat), based on an idea by the show's stars Olivia Colman (Peep Show, Rev, Green Wing), Julia Davis (Nighty Night, Gavin and Stacey) and Sharon Horgan (Pulling, Dead Boss).

The programme centres on a dysfunctional British mining dynasty, and is a parody of telenovela-style melodramas and soap operas such as Dallas.

The series' pilot episode was shown on Channel 4 on 26th August 2012

It was hilarious. I hope it gets a series. Julia Davis needs to star in more stuff, I love her.
