in the last 48 hours despite being real and telling it like it is to danica and rhian, both of whom are as fake as a plastic dummy, he also stood up for ashley from their cruel giggling and mocking (that type of behaviour is very uncomfortable) despite standing his ground against a room full of haters and some anti americans like julian, he still was true to himself. he did it sincerely honestly , tactfully and kindly. unlike many others even in nominations he has been honest but not vicious.

he has flown to 2nd in the ratings in a show 6000 miles from home, not bad for a kid with barely any education in an alien environment. how has he managed to become so popular with fans?

he wears his heart on his sleeve, hes honest , romantic, passionate , open minded , respectful and great fun

obviously being american its impossible to ever win a reality popularity tv show in england (unless its solely based on merit like masterchef)

he will make the final and lose, but like madsen last year, he has again shown the american contestants are more sincere and despite the myth, theyre more polite and friendly than most of the british housemates too
