When Rhian went off script and said she nommed Mike as he was a player, Brian quickly replied "erm we love a playboy dont we?" after spending the whole evening making digs about danica being a player (the rinser, you can put a price on love on danicas website etc).

Why did brian feel the need to stick up for Mike? It was as if Rhian had said something controversial, against the party line and unfair so Brian wanted to let audience know Rhian was wrong. Rhian basically said something unexpected that tptb knew was not part of their "Mike/ Julie/ Martin/ Julie" dream final. Meanwhile increasingly biased Brian spent whole night slating Danica. of course it matters. Brian was so biased against danics. every bitchy comment/ joke was against her. "look people danica is bad as she plays men. mikey good as he plays women" is essentially what he said. Brian also gave rhian are worse time than he have Mr Epilator.

also if brian knew vote pattern why not slate mike?
