View Full Version : Julie The truth about Julie...

Was written all over Rhian's face last night.

Julie was the last to hug her as she was going up the stairs, a group hug that included Danica. The two girls that Julie has been slating for days.

Rhian's face on seeing Julie nominating her spoke volumes. The girls have/had no idea how nasty the old crone is being towards them.

People keep going on and on about how horrible the girls where to the boys, all of which knew from the start that they hadn't a chance, but the worst behaviour is coming from the oldest HM. Yet she will be forgiven, because some see her as a soap god, or they think her nasty side is funny, while others dislike what the younger girls do for a living so whats said/done to them is fine.

Julie might be 70, but she really is a dislikeable character...

I agree, I felt pretty bad for Rhian last night, she was clearly upset by the whole thing. Colleen must stay this week as she is our only hope to get Julie nominated and out before the final

It's less about what she says rather than the way she says it, to whom and how.

See link below which lists all the charactersistics of a bully, which is what Julie is:

She has played them all in there and I think they are slowly wising up to it at long last - Julian's face when she was trying to slate Coleen showed he has cottoned on to her at long last - I really hope Coleen and Julian side together and take Julie down before the final.

No, much as I hate to admit it, it doesn't matter if Julie gets nominated for eviction she will survive with ease. She is the biggest character in this years show, love her or hate her you can't ignore her. The majority of threads on this forum are either about Julie or Danica, and whilst I feel sure Danica will go tonight Julie is here to stay.

She is probably the bookies fav and should make it to the final with Julian,Situation,Coleen and Martin + .......................:xyxwave:

Julie is a two faced old hag... Have you noticed how she keeps the boys close but 'outs' all the girls...
She doesnt mind telling the lads what she thinks but she is less honest to the girls.

Nothing really Ellen,Julie made her decision as to nominating on her chats with the guys, in fact Rhian was more amazed at Samantha nominating her and also though she was very disappointed that Julie did.
However as to Rhian's so called bad reaction as to Julie's nomination of her, her answers to 2 questions showed she still holds a fair bit of respect for her.

To who will you avoid at the party, her answer was obviously Jasmine and to the 2nd question even knowing what she knew now after leaving, which 2 housemates would she have nominated and she said, Samantha and Ashley, still not Julie so all this Rhian is likely against Julie now is more invention than fact.
Of the 3 people who did nominate her, the one person Rhian still would not have put up for eviction was Julie. That speaks volumes.

Thank you for an answer
I have not heard her say anything nasty about the girls, she just said she didnt like the fact they were playing the boys & it spoilt the atmosphere in the house.

She's always made a big play, in and out of the diary room, of saying that she finds nominating hard. IMO this is because she's fully aware that she might come across as a viscious, old cow and feels she needs to pretend that she isn't.

Instead of being straightforward and giving her real reasons for nominating younger, stronger, more attractive woment, (and I include Coleen in this group), she seizes on any plausible reason to nominate them on behalf of other HMs.

She's always had a weakness for younger men and this is why she is desperate to suck up to them. (Unfortunate turn of phrase in view of the banana, I know.) By pointedly asking them if they felt they were being played, she sent them a clear signal that she was going to nominate Rhian and Danica.

Killing two brds with one stone in this way may be perceived as clever to some, but I still maintain that she's a sly, old dog, rather than an intelligent one. Whatever her IQ, she's a nasty, conniving piece of work, who should be voted out at the earliest opportunity.

The point of BB is to play the game, because it's a game, surely? So so what if she is? I would rather that than her be a boring drip (Martin)

Yes she has said she doesnt like the nomination process, if that is masking her "real self" then she isnt alone, others have voiced the same.

She already had an idea who she was voting for, she spoke to the boys to confirm she was right in her choice, she had said before she didnt like it & how it changed the atmosphere.
I have not seen her be nasty about the girls she just didnt agree with their behaviour, i dont see a problem with that.

...by asking Ashley & Mike if they thought they were being played she was clearly letting them know she was at least 'considering' nominating Danica & Rhian, thus giving the boys a nod and the confidence to do the same (why didn't she go to each of the girls and ask them if they thought the accusations against them were unfair?)...she is culling the girls one by one and her tactics have paid off so far...

The boys were already nominating the girls, that had been decided with Harvey.
Why didnt she go to the girls & ask if the accusations against them were unfair? Probably because what she has seen suggests it wasnt unfair.

See link below which lists all the charactersistics of a bully, which is what Julie is:

http://www.bullyonline.org/workbully/serial.htm

Not the bully word again. My daughter was bullied at school for years and then at university because she was so intelligent. Believe me Julie is not a bully. Maybe unpleasant behaviour but it is not bullying. Asking a man if he is being played cannot be bullying of the female concerned. This only happened once that I saw. Bullying has to be repeated attacks. You may call a friend a few names because you are mad at them. That is not bullying.
CBB is a game and every one who goes in has supposedly been assessed as to whether they can play the game.
If a contestant is nice to you and then noms behind your back does not amount to bullying. That is the game and a risk for the person because the audience will turn against someone who is blatantly two faced.

Well said. Why do people after 12 years still not understand the word game? Look at Coleen crying in the Diary Room tonight. If she is not gameplaying she should not have gone into the house. She thought she could do the same as Denise. Well no Denise liked fun.

If you've been through this experience with your daughter and if you've read the link, you will understand that it's how the victim feels that defines whether it's bullying, or not.

I don't make this claim about Julie lightly, as I've experienced this form of bullying myself.
