It has been decades since I saw a stripper...and let me tell you that neither I or my friends ever entered a club with a featured stripper in search of any kind of sexual gratification!...If you knew the men's psyche as well as you believed that you do...you would know that we visited such clubs for 1) The camaraderie. 2) The means to lighten-up and be temporarily-free from our daily woes [ ie the beer.] and 3) Generally have a bit of a laugh away from the kids and work!
The whether there was a stripper on or not was never a high priority on which club that we visited.

Any titillation derived from a stripper was merely from the shock value of seeing something that we were all brought up to believe was taboo!
And was never the depraved sex-beast sessions that you have imagined!

And no I don't believe that you are being patronising, but I have seen plenty of modern strip clubs on tv over the years...and have five daughters and seven granddaughters plus so far four great granddaughters that have just about all been to see male strippers, and the way that they talk about their experiences there and what some of the other girls were doing there sometimes makes this old-fart cringe..but I have no doubt that no matter how much the show has changed...the crack is just the same as it always was!...Just a laugh , that's all! :spin:

I'm a man and I've never visited a strip club. Nor do I have any intention of doing so in the future. And I've never seen a stripper at any other venue.

But lets be fair, a stripper is a stripper. It matters little about whether they are male or female, they earn money for taking their clothes off. And that money comes from an audience, who are paying to watch.

There are many differences between men and women. Our biology programs us differently. Of course there is more to it than that.

Sure there are far more female strip clubs than male ones. However there are alot more young women married to much older, richer, men, than vice versa. We've all heard of WAGS, but when was the last time you heard of a man wanting to be a MABS?

When it comes down to it, men can be very stupid with their cash when it comes to women. And there are alot of women who prey on that fact.

Even alot of societies norms are based around men paying for the company of women. When a couple go on a date, its traditional for the man to pay. When a man meets a woman in a bar, who buys the drinks? Engagement rings, who pays? Course there are historical reasons for these things, but are they still valid today?

In the end, as long as no one is getting hurt, whats the harm?
