Closer to Danica now than Julie

Noticed Julian hangs out with Danica and Colleen than Julie nowadays (since Gods n Mortals). During F2F noms they were affectionate and looked quite close and he looked admiringly at her for nomming Ash.

Julian is an ueber homosexual so obviously you cant put it down to Danica's womanly wiles! Basically Danica is a likeable lass.

He comes across a nicer person now. Julie manipulated him at the start, whenever they were together they would just bitch, same goes for anyone who spends time with Julie tbh. Julian most definitely has that side to him, but he has bitched much less since distancing himself from Julie.

Julian is in a tricky position. Julie is a legend to him but he is wise to her gameplaying and duplicity.

And despite his bitchy act julian is quite sensitive ( julie shocked at how much he wanted to stay after cheryl eviction) and now appreciates danica and previously rhian after initially sneering at them.

Julie didnt pick him as a God and hes reeling.

If Julian did that on a face to face noms (or ever to be fair), he'd get a **** load of votes. Not quite sure he has the backbone to do it though (hope he has), seems like quite a fragile bloke, he has stressed over quite a few things.

Julian comes across to me as a genuinely nice guy. It's difficult to be 'nice' in the BB house which is a cauldron of malice and back stabbing which is probably why he has ended up being quiet instead. Julie obviously snubbed him by choosing not choosing him as a god but maybe he was already distancing himself as she got deeper and deeper into 'cactus granny' mode!

I'd imagine that being away from Julie for a couple of days has done Julian the world of good.

He's had the chance to mingle with others, rather than listening to her spill bile all day long. I do think the Coleen thing was the turning point though. Watching how quickly Julie got the bitching in, once Coleens back was turned.

I'd love to see him take more of a commanding role in the house, but there is no shame in not losing his dignity either.

I think Julian may be torn between speaking out to/about Julie because, firstly, he's quite kind and caring at heart and wouldn't want to be cruel.

He's also just like anyone who is really intelligent and articulate and knows he has an unfair advantage over Julie if it were to come to a war of words. He'd destroy her, so he's holding back.

I guess he could also be being a bit wary of having a go at someone he believes to be more popualr than he is. He's always been haunted by his Nornam Lamont quip, which set his career back for several years, and won't want to make the same mistake twice.

It may have little to do with things, but if he's been suffering from toothache in there until recently, he won't have felt up to anything much.

Hope he thows caution to the wind soon, though, and gives her what she deserves!

I really want Julian to up his game a bit - I think he's been himself which is what I love about him and as Clootie says his apathyl could have had a lot to do with his tooth - now that's been sorted and he's hopefully recovered I'm hoping he tears a few of them apart in there verbally!!
