"Dont vote" Then the morons in the crowd shout "YOU'RE TO LATE!"

I dont know why but its really ****ing irritating me lol.

So cringe worthy.

Has this actually become Brians catch phrase?

I agree with you that it's irritating, and yes it has become Brian's catch phrase sadly.

He doesn't even need to say the "if you're watching on Demand" bit because if you are watching on there's a big message across the screen saying lines are now closed :idc:

I was there tonight and there's a bloke who comes on stage beforehand and during adverts etc, I guess as a warmup. He was instructing the audience to do the "too late" line, and bribed us with bottles of wine and Haribo.

I must admit that I felt a little bit dirty being among such company but at least the tickets were free. They even had people that had just been watching Who Wants To Be A Millionaire come join the crowd to make up numbers!

I think he's really talking to the crowd so they know not to vote when they watch it back on demand. That's the intellect level he's aiming at.

His other catchphrase seems to be when he tells us BOTS is on next and he goes "Hiiii Emma!" before she appears on the screen.

It's obviously not unnecessary if the network keeps making him say it. At least he's turned it into something fun, instead of something tedious. It is sad that there are so many members of the british public that are so stupid that it needs to be said so often.

You'd think that C5 could just put something on the screen during the reruns that says "do not vote, this is prerecorded"
