View Full Version : BB US Theme Ideas
In terms of season themes what would you like to see?
I would like to see a season of 'die hard' fans, none of this alleged 'picking pretty people'.
It might be interesting to pick a season of Over 30's maybe.

A 1984 inspired theme would be incredible.

I would just like to see them pick "normal" people that actually audition, like they used to pick in seasons 2-5. Those seasons had some of the best game players. None of this "she has red hair, she must be interesting," or "he loves bacon and Beverly Hills 90210, he'll be a fan favorite," crap.

a Back to Basics season.
Allstars 2 good vs evil
Fans vs Favourites
Twists that don't last for just 3 weeks of the game.
No grodner interference.

Since the UK and the Philippines have done this (the latter finished its fourth series in July), how about Big Brother: Teen Edition.

I would like to see a bunch of people from the same high school class be in the same house together. Instant Drama
I would like to have a evil big brother theme once. I was going to say a hell themed house but AS had that without the evil big brother
Or for BB15, the house has a room from each of the past seasons and we choose the rooms 3 months in advance

I would love to see a second chance season. Then we could get characters back, like Jojo, Annie, Laura, Brian etc...Who went far too early.

Dream cast for that would be Carol, Laura, Andrew, Brian, Angie, Braden, Ashlea, Jojo, Dominic, Cassi, Annie, Parker..

We could definitely do without Angie, Ashlea, Cassi, and Parker.

They're all forgettable. Ashlea and Angie were boring as ****, Paker was boring and not all that likable, and Cassi was a hypocritical twat in every sense of the word. Completely unlikable bitch.
Oh god what an awful idea
Well aren't you a beacon of shining optimism, want to suggest an idea yourself? Or do you just want to shoot other people's ideas?

It's not about being optimistic, just being realistic. The gimmick "superfans" that are cast every season have always been awful. A house full of Ronnie's and Ian's would be no different.

I'd like to see a Survivor season, all-stars from Survivor play the Big Brother game for the whole summer. Or maybe a CBS Reality Shows ultimate challenge theme, people from Survivor, Amazing Race, and Big Brother.

Id like to see a season with 18-20yr olds. All athletic and very competitive. I think a survivor series would be interesting too.

Shelly is being overrated since this season started imo. especially by Ian. she got caught up in her too many lies like Ronnie. just happened a bit later. i would give her more cred if she didnt tell so many lies that didnt even need to be said. a lot were pointless and got her caught. cant say about Jodi as she was rightfully booted off Dan's team. when that HOH comp started she was already complaining lol. i can see why he got rid of her. Annie got booted too early to judge as well. which Laura? i agree about ED. people can say the AP vote which is true but take that out i still think he was good.

A Celeb Hijack would be fun to watch as well with the celebs taking over on days of comps and evictions.
Like Day 1: Paula Abdul
Day 5: A Comedian
Day 9: Russell Brand
Day 11: Evel Dick
Day 14: Penn and Teller (Houseguest is evicted via a magic trick)

I'd like a format twist rather than casting twist - and BBUSA is so stale in that regard they could use one of BB's oldest twists and it would actually bring something completely new to the show - the Rich/Poor Divide.
I think it would work brilliantly combined with the HoH format, and physically splitting players each week also shakes up alliances, as only rich HMs would be able to chat privately with the HoH. The poor area would be create in the current bathroom/arcade room, with a new bathroom created in one of the bedrooms for the rich side. A Rich/Poor Challenge would take place each week in the Sunday show before noms, while an added twist to the Veto could be that it can be used to save someone from the poor area too. And obviously after X amount of weeks the divide is removed and the remainder of the season plays out in the main house.

I like it Brekkie. I also wouldn't mind one week where the Hoh Decides the Rich/Poor Hgs but only the Rich hgs can be nominated and you must have at least 4 other hgs in the Rich side and 1 must live on the poor side.

How about Big Brother: Aussie Takeover?
14 newbies enter on Launch Night (first live launch since 2000) unbeknownst to them that Australian BB has taken over their summer. Using the BBAU2008 format (pre-Week 6), the viewers will vote to keep their favorite from entering the bottom 2. The 3 people with the least percentage of votes will be up for eviction. The PoV will be played for during the middle of the week. The person that wins the PoV will have the power to remove a nominee's percentage of votes (making them safe) and putting the 3rd person with the least percentage of votes up. Then the HGs with the higher percentage of votes will vote to evict (without points). The person with the most votes will leave the BB house to be interviewed by Julie Chen. Then the public will vote to evict two out of the final 3 HGs on Day 86. The person with the most votes will leave the Big Brother house as the winner of $500,000 and a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu. The runner-up & all other evictees will get a 2013 Chevrolet Volt.

Maybe Older vs Younger? (Although there'd be too many old people /:)
7 people from 18-25
7 people from 30-50

You can never have too many people over 30 on Big Brother tbh.

I've always wanted a redemption one instead of what they did with bb13, won't happen now as they have brough back too many past contestants
Basically contestants who left early on.. such as Laura, Annie..

I want to see the BB4 twist redone again. Kinda like BB9UK's twist send in a couple of hgs that don't have an ex entering and know each other. and then call them to the Diary Room, Tell them they must convince the other hgs that they're exes. (Everyone else but one other hg will have a ex)
If they suceed they're the HoHs for the week. Fail and they're nominated for the first eviction

Oooh I would for them to do the Turf War task for a week. Hoh is the only one excused and can use all the rooms.
If You win the comp area in the backyard only your team can participate in the HoH comp
If You win the DR, only your team can vote.
