Was Julie smoking in Kitchen?

Whilst watching BOTs last night a clip was shown from the house where Julie was in the kitchen with others and I'm sure she was smoking (which I believe is not allowed inside the house). I could be wrong.

She was using an e cig which are legal indoors as they produce vapour and not smoke....but provides the user with nicotine...

No it was smoke coming of her chewing gum...!!!

It did look very fake, everytime she took in a mouthful it lit up really red.
