he hates americans, he hates all hetresexual men, he doesnt like houseives either and prejudges them all as exactly the same

he prejudges people on their accents and eloquence

he calls people common , he judges people by their bodies too

he hates people because of what sexuality they are, what nationality they are, what bodyshape they are, what paper they write for, what a hypocritical snob

yet when it comes to rinsers or gay people, he makes exceptions

the man is disturbingly narrow minded cold and bigotted, I predicted it from the start, but I was really hoping hed prove me wrong. sadly hes been terribly narrow minded, cold and frankly ignorant. if he was bullied at school , i sypthize, but with all the success hes had in his chosen profession and a nice home and setled down, at aged 53 youd think hed be big enough to finally drop the massive bitterness and chip on both shoulders. sadly hes not. hes not funny, hes mean and nasty

im a hetro male and I dig ballet, classical music, pop music, i do sinatra on karaoke, dont have tatooes, dont attend football, but love rugby, movies, cricket, tennis, swiming, chess, reading endlessly, writing, running businesses etc etc and I have a pink phone and sometimes drink cocktails out of a tumbler with an umbrella and am not too scared to wear some hawaii 5 o shirts. I dont prejudge gay men, straight men, women or gay women or bi women, the wya julian prejudges straight men

I love loads of comedy from the political bill hicks, to the self confessional richard prior, the rantings of chris rock, the musings of larry david, the hysteria of joan rivers, I love camp comedy if its funny like dick emery, kenneth williams, graham norton can be funny at times....im disgusted how narrow minded and hypocritical julian clary has proved to be

Let me tell you a story.

I watched a small boy get on a school bus one day, he had some form of cerebral palesy. there were no teachers no adults, just kids running wild. an indian boy piped up and said something mean about the boy. at which point other boys went mad and started calling the indian boy racist names

the fact is the indian boy was bigotted and discriminating and then he was also discriminated against as revenge. you therefore have to act to prevent both forms of discrimination, but if you dont tackle the indian boys bigotry then you wont stop the abuse he receives. equaltity and law must work both ways equally. but it doesnt. how many twitter police cases or sexual discrimination or sexism cases or discrimination cases have been taken on from hetrosexual men? compared to women, gay people, disabled people, different religions, nationalities and other groups? etc

men are told to man up and laugh it off? why the double standard?

this is the way human nature often works.

but to allow greater protection for one group over another creates mass problems and people feel angry and have no voice. hence we then see the rise of the disgusting bnp and such like. everyone can be bigotted. in the case of julian he needs to be called out for labelling groups of people in such a negative way. I dont even think its being funny , he really means it, thats a key difference. as a man I find it offensive.

say we flipped the script and took all he said over the weeks as a straight man saying it about gay people, disabled people or women. theyre all the same boring all do the same thing talk the same thing, the way he condescends about americans too is near the knuckle. its not just one off comments with julian its his entire persona. theres a lot of negativity and judgement coming from this man.

You make some valid comparisons but for all his perceived faults I still maintain his good points outweigh these possible shortcomings. He is a genuinely funny man who does not carry bad feeling around. Also he may be exaggerating this side of his personality for the cameras.

Tbf this attitude is how and why Julian is famous..his outspokenness has been his trade mark. He has a dry sense of humour and his comedy is very observational. I love him... The OP comments whilst having a sense of validity to some are completely generalised

I in no way think Julian is bigotted.
He's a dry wit and doesn't suffer fools gladly. I'd actually go so far as to say he's the most genuine and loyal HM in there as despite his flamboyant image he hasn't played to the cameras to hog the limelight like he could have. He's made me laugh out loud several times and I suspect there would have been more had the HL's not been totally dominated by the Danica circus. I'd love him to win although I suspect he may not now as he's been so closely connected to Julie.
