It's crazy that even despite being up against the Olympics, etc. BB13 was still able to get a higher average rating than BB12.

Next year with no olympics all we need is a few changes to keep the format refreshed and we can get more ratings again I'm sure.

Series average of 1.8millon is a good figure for channel 5 and over 3 months of viewing commitment.and cbb getting around 2.2/2.3 at a guess.

Should bb and cbb keep at the minimum, if not improve these figures, then i suspect we could be looking at another 5 years or so of it. Tbh if both can just improve by around another 200,000 it would be a big kick in the teeth for ch 4, i have no idea why they let it go...

After one week Dallas is hitting the same figures if not slightly down on cbb overnights. After all that hype and it's not outrating the bb format..

BB and CBB are rating hits for the channel.

Not surprised. Aaron more or less carried BB last year. The show would have died without him - he created 90% of drama. This year was more democratic, good or bad more characters contributed to show eg Caroline, Chris, Lauren, Benedict, Lydia Deana, Conor, Becky, Ashleigh, Becky and Arron. The winner was actually one of the weaker characters.

So BB13 Averaged nearly 2million over nearly 3months, 7nights a week. For the 2nd night running the channel haven't had a programme rate anywhere near to a million.

Think it's safe to say BB definately does well for the broadcaster all things considered.
