Oh come on if it had been Coleen there, Emma would have acted exactly the same. She has questions to read and its not a public hanging, Julie had just been evicted from a game show, though you would never think it judging from some of the horrified views on here...would a public flogging satify the baying for blood...:joker:

Nice to see my theory about the Prince being a bit too savvy to be taken in by Danica was proved correct.... where's Lex tonight, he was the other one who had the same theory.

Well silly me for thinking Julie should have been taken to task for her disgusting behaviour in the house. Maybe she would have learned something if everyone wasn't fawning all over her despite her vile behaviour.

Young people watch this showing thinking Jesus I can't believe what she's just said then Emma comes along and says it's okay this kind of thing is absolutely fine after all haha it's all a big game don't worry about a woman in the DR who was close to a breakdown.

Get it, got it, good? WTF does that even mean?

And no one young enough to be that impressionable should be watching in the first place.

Life lessons? lol. Many things shape young people's views of life, the media has massive input on that and they are almost always completely irresponsible.

I'm sure you'd like to think your kids will listen to you more than a TV programme. You're wrong.

I'd like to think my kids would be brought up already fully aware that behaviour like Julie's is disgusting and wrong, it would be my job as a parent to ensure this.

He 'sowed the seed' for Julie because she deserved it. Btw, i always find it funny when people try to defend someones undesirable behaviour by describing them as 'real', lol. What a load of rubbish. She was 'real' but if being 'real' equates to being rude and vulgar, then who gives a toss if she is being 'real' or not? She deserves to be outed purely because she was rude and a snake. There is no rule that states that housemates must be 'real' in order to win.

I thought watching both the eviction interview and the later appearance on BOTS that Chulie Badyear was pretty much allowed to say anything she wanted without reproach from any of the interviewers. I also thought she actually intimidated both Brian and Emma to the point where they did not want to get into any area where the Hagster held the opposite view.

you could actually sense the fear coming from them both in their verbal exchanges and in their body language. They were both probably thinking ".... gets this *******ed up old Hag away from me".......

It shows their limits as presenters but to be fair she (Hagster) intimidated everyone around her including panellists and audience alike.

Bet BB will think twice in future about putting someone like her in the show...!!!

Well said, Toto.

I also agree with other posters that Emma Willis, and Brian to a lesser extent, pretty much rolled over and let the old hag have full rein to vent her bile as much as she wanted to.

Julie had the opportunity to put her hands up and say, 'Yes, I was playing a game, pretending to love them all when they really pissed me off', which she'd never do, we know. It was the job of the presenters to confront her with the obvious contradiction in her claims to be simultaneously 'real' (rude and hateful) and 'a good actress' (pretending to be nice). Brian did this to some extent, but Emma's performance was fawning and cringeworthy.

The CBB production team had the opportunity of showing Julie a few clips, like the 'pie in the face' clip, alongside the lies she told to HMs, and confronting her about her duplicity.

What really annoyed me was the decision to allow Julie to be exposed to her fellow HMs and have to deal with some of the flack as a result of her bad behaviour, then throw her a rope at the last minute, via the newsreader task, in an attempt to 'rehabilitate' her just before she was due to be booted out of the show. This supplied Emma with the chance to look at the 'lighter' side of Juie's bad behaviour and ignore most of the bullying and vitriol.

Exactly, it was clear they were too scared.. But what did they think would happen?

At the beginning of bots Emma said they would be asking the questions "that Brian didn't have the balls to ask" but when it came down to it she was worse then him.

Even when Linda stood up to her you could see she was very intimidated.

Also, why didn't the audience get to ask any questions?

This hardly surprises me.

Jasmine was given an open mike to spew and was never challenged. Samantha made some horrid comments, but was never challenged. So why should they challenge Julie?

However Danica had to answer some very hard questions and her "behaviour" has been part of nearly every interview we've seen.

Its a hedge betting system that they have. They tackle those that they feel confident that they can control.

she wasnt performing that was her she was herself. she was very genuinee much of the time, so she kissed people she voted for, so what? thats the game. she was aazing entertainment and did say many things to peoples face far more than anyone else.

I think you're right, Kefln. I'm also fed up that they continue to make snide references to Danica. Julie doesnt hold a candle to Danica when it comes down holding your hands up to questionable behaviour. Danica took her criticism on the chin and answered some difficult questions with real integrity, whereas Julie admitted nothing, apologised for nothing and was barely challenged about anything.

My opinion wasn't influenced by the mere '3 minutes' you mention in her exit interview but are based on how she came across in the house.

I also think that if 'lonely, broken hearted old men' (or dirty-minded voyeurs) are stupid enough to want to send presents to someone based on a phone call or online conversation, then they deserve all they get.

How can these two posts have come from the same person?

Everyone in the house is pretty much in agreement that Julie was the biggest player in there. She never confronted anyone, she just told someone that she loved them, before slaughtering them behind their backs.

She was even caught out for trying to fix the vote.

I find it funny to see that people will let some HM's get away with anything, but d*mn others to hell, simply because they disagree with the HM's career choice.

Julie is a "respected" actress, but is in reality a complete b*tch with a massive sense of self importance. Danica is a glamour model and phone sex worker, but tried her best to get on with as many in the house as possible. Julie has no problem slating people inside and outside of the house. Danica was polite and never raised to the bait, even when told that Samantha called her poison.

Goes to show that "fame" and "respectability" don't necessarily make for nice people. While some glamour models are living proof that you should never judge a book by its cover.

We've obviously got two very different perspectives.

From my POV, Julie has done the 'I love you', closely followed by a muttered insult so many times that it more than cancels out any of her 'entertaining moments. And I honestly don't think ther have been many.

Coleen, on the other hand, who I was prepared to dislike because I hate 'Loose Women', comes across as genuine and I have really felt for her at times, particularly when Julie bullied her by cornering her on the sofa after her news bulletin revealing that Coleen had talked about the ciggie-hogging incident - squeezing her cheeks really hard, groping her boobs and kissing her on the lips, while snarling 'endearments' at her.

Julie had a problem with alot of the HM's and talked about it constantly. All the while sucking up to their faces. At 70 you'd imagine she'd have more respect/understanding.

Coleen bitched about Julie, mainly about the way that Julie was treating her and others in the house.

Its interesting to note that most of the HM's, including those that were close to Julie, are now all pally with Coleen.

Put it all together and you find that Coleen was correct and Julie was two-faced and playing everyone from the start...

Yes, that was the upshot. It was a shame no-one came to Coleen's rescue by pointing this out while she was doing it. Because no-one did or said anything, Julie could continue to deny that she had been 'overtly' nasty to Coleen, which is exactly what she did.

Well there you have it. The majority of people are sheep. World wars have proved that. Those who object are removed either shot or imprisoned. Outside of war the same pack rules are in place. You put your head over the parapet and you will get it shot off. So most people prefer to keep quiet.
Lorenzo had a fairly agreeable audience. There was some dissent over Julie but it was quickly subdued by other people in the audience. It makes no difference what Emma put to Julie, the answers would have been the same ie 'That's me'. She believes in herself to survive.

They even showed her Martins moment of warning the boys to be careful... and let her rip into Martin for being a 'two-faced bastard'...and everyone applauded her.
I watched Coronation street about the time she was in it...and yes she played a good character but she strutts around as though everyone should bow and curtsey to her.
Then she said I just want to grow old gracefully and be shown respect and then promptly comes out with a tirade of '****ing this and ****ing that'!! She should know as she is in those 'mature' years that respect has to be earned and thats not by just playing a big character on a TV soap....and showing us that in real life she is nothing but a demanding Diva who smokes like a chimney...chews gum like a camel...curses like no other 70 year old would and has a face like a screwed up paper bag!!

I saw that Clootie, that was a defining moment for me,a truly nasty vile person, people are saying how nice she is and they haven't even seen the nastiness against Coleen, apparently!!!

Actually she said she wanted to "grow old DISgracefully" :D

Quite rightly they treated her her BOTS with the respect she deserved & she put that tart Linda Lusardi in her place too :xyxwave:

I didn't see it like that Flaming, Linda was asking the right questions unfortunately Emma "Had to move on" and some totally unknown woman shut Julie straight up last night.

So glad someone else thinks this as well... I hate this sort of attitude

"Im real, I say what I feel, I dont care about others opinions..."

Well im my world thats called being a sociopath... Or a massive twat if your not actually mentally ill. If the world were full of people who 'said what they feel' we would never have progressed beyond early civilisation. I hate some of the people I work with, its just part of being an adult and life in general that you have to suck it up and be civil.

Now if someone wrongs you thats fine, by all means attack back but what Julie was doing (and Jas) was offering her misguided and frankly warped opinion on people to everyone to cause trouble... If thats being REAL give me fake ass people anyday.

Also has everyone forgotten the smiling assassin behaviour, even if you like people who speak their minds... JULIE DIDNT

She said one thing to someones face and something else behind their back, she is pretty much the definition of two faced. TBH I never actually figured out which face was real she was so duplicitous.

And finally everyone is fake, yes even lame ass types like Harvey and Jasmine. Im fairly sure they dont behave the same way around everyone they meet, modifying your personality based on your surroundings is part of being a human, if you dont your generally known by everyone else as 'That annoying dick/bitch who nobody likes'
