I doubt even a quarter of a million of them are eligible to vote. They're all 12 year old American girls.

Americans being the keyword. Out of 5million, 4.8million at least, I'd imagine, are American and can not vote

If he does pluck up enough votes despite being irritatingly dull (bar his little tiff he had with Danica a week ago) I win £78 from bookies! So let the 12 year olds and the deluded fools who can't accept he's boring when not reading a script for Jersey shore vote as much as they ****ing want! I'm relying on these kind of kids!

People buy twitter and facebook followers for £300 for 100,000 it is meaningless these days.

Tim Anderson already won Masterchef 2 years ago. He'd be the 2nd American, at best. Besides, the majority of Mike's fans are Americans (not bought - it's a small fraction of his show's audience), and we cannot vote - even when it was fb voting, the fb app is blocked outside the UK.

I didn't know this! Society is weird.

Although, do you think its legit? I think its probably just a brilliant way to scam the stupid?

thats a skill show, this is a reality tv popularity contest which no american has ever won in the 13/14 years across every channel. which is a disgusting statistic based around the fact the english are in general profoundly anti american, despite the fact we follow them into wars, individually we discriminate against them massively, which iho is plain wrong. we have it back to front and the wrong way around...we should stand against the wars, but give each individual a fair chance.

Of which how many of those fans are American? Nobody watches Jersey Shore here, maybe 300,000. If anything he would have picked up more UK fans because of CBB.

Always like 25-40% are complete unactive or fake, and 4/5 of his ones are sadly not from the UK. So only like 250,000 at the most can vote :(

I just don't get this obsession with followers on social media - too much one uppmanship for me - give me one good friend over 5 million followers any day!

Tits? I don't know, I don't use twitter 'cos I couldn't care less what wannabe-famous people have to say. People are weird! What kind of ego boost is this!

Or is it just that there aren't many Americans on popularity contests in the UK?
Not that I'm calling you dumb, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that 1000s of UK contestants vs 10s of American contestants ... Just do the maths.
