Nicki Minaj - Roman Reloaded: The Re-up (leaked)

Nicki Minaj has confirmed that she will re-release her current album later this year.

The rapper revealed that she will put out an updated version of her LP - renamed Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up - in November, preceded by a new single next week (September 10).

"I'm releasing my album in November," she told E! Entertainment, adding: "It's called Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded: The Re-Up.

"I'm putting lots of new songs on there and I'm actually going to drop my new single next week so barbz, you are going to ****, you are going to love it, you are going to go crazy."

The LP, of which the deluxe edition contains 22 tracks, topped the UK and US charts in April this year.

The set has spawned the hit singles 'Starships', 'Right By My Side', 'Beez in the Trap' and 'Pound the Alarm'.

Nicki Minaj has backtracked on claims that she'll be voting Republican in the forthcoming US election and has said that she will actually be supporting Barack Obama.

Last week, Minaj had seemed to endorse Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney in a new song titled 'Mercy', a collaboration with Lil Wayne on his ‘Dedication 4’ mixtape. In it, Minaj says: "I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy bitches is ****ing up the economy."

The President himself then responded to Minaj's outburst by telling Florida radio station Power 95.3: "Yeah, I'm not sure that's actually what happened. I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that. But she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."

Minaj has now confirmed via Twitter that she was in character on the track and told Obama that she was "sending her love and support".

She wrote: "Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do... sends love & support. Now I can tell my grandchildren that the 1st black President of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question.

My HMV had loads of copies when I went to get it - This was on the day it was out. I think partly the reason for low sales is that there was NO preorder avalibe in the UK on iTunes before release - only put on the site the day of release. I bought my physical copy instead of a legal download.

Portsmouth :), I got my copy at the High Street store which had plenty in stock. We have 2 HMV's in Portsmouth - One in the main city center and another at Gunwhalf :).
