Madonna is the Queen Mother, passed it, no longer relevant but still hanging around.

Queen: Madonna. The title was invented for her. No one's close to replicating her career and discography.
Princess: Britney.
King: MJ.
Prince: I don't think anyone's ever referred to a prince of pop, but I'd probably say Usher.
Duke: Bowie, since he had the character of the Thin White Duke whilst in his pop phase.
Duchess: Again, not a title I've seen used but idk... Diana Ross maybe?

I don't see the need to give every current popstar a title. Some of them are going to end up as the next Dido, Lil Kim and Christina Milians.

I agree with most people

king - MJ
queen - Madonna
princess - Britney
prince - dunno..

but then there's distant family like the Queen of R&B, Soul, Punk etc

I think the only person who could steal the crown from Madonna is Gaga, but not for at least another 15/20 years. Britney could have, but she sort of ruined it :( she'll probably always be the princess though.

-prefers him to MJ and doesn't want him to be lower-

plus idk if he's really pop. more the God of R&B.

King: David Guetta (he seems to be everywhere nowadays and in pretty much every song)
Queen: Rihanna
Princess: Katy Perry
Prince: Justin Bieber (makes me feel sick, but he pretty much is)
Dutchess: Taylor Swift
Duke: Chris Brown

I'm going by current artists which seem to be holding the most impact over the last 5 - 10 years. I haven't included MJ as he is dead and he would be a Prince compared to Elvis who was the king. Madonna is not included as she was the queen of pop, but her reign is pretty much over and Britney really does not have much impact anymore.

King of Pop: MJ
King of R&B (the most important): Lord Saviour Robert Kelly
Queen of R&B: Mary J Blige

None of the others really matter.

Ah I see, I will let you off then shaun :)

By royalty I take it to mean someone with an extensive back catalogue or has been influencial in shaping a music genre.

So mine would be
King, Elvis
Queen, Madonna
Prince, MJ
Princess, kylie minogue
Duchess, Annie Lennox
Duke, David Bowie/morrissey
