This January....Big Brother: Couple's Edition

Instead of having two Celebrity series in a row - what if BB did something new like they did with Teen Big Brother and Celebrity Hijack...

It could be Big Brother: Couple's Edition.

10 non-married couples enter the house and compete for a wedding worth 100,000 pounds. They get nominated and evicted as pairs. There could be some really cool and funny tasks involved.

Or - you could include married couples too and just change the prize.

OR, you could do famous Celebrity couples.

Neither of those turned out fantastically...

Plus, C5 commissioned 2 CBB's a year because that is where they get their ratings. I appreciate the idea of themed series, but for C5's regime, it just doesn't fit.

Just no i really would switch off if they did that nothing bores me more than couples in big brother never mind throwing in weddings uggh might as well throw in some pretty flower arranging and a girly fashion gossip hour while your at it.

Imagine the constant drivel that would dominate the highlights of them talking and squealing about their ideal wedding.

I'd rather a bunch of married couples whose marriages are actually breaking down, and the prize is for a holiday for them both to try to work things out.

I wouldn't want this for BB but its actually a good concept for a separate reality show, running for a shorter time though so its not too similar to BB. Two or three weeks seems reasonable.

I think they should do pairs rather then couples. So you could have couples, brother and sisters, best mates, father and daughters, gran and grandson, mother and sons all living in the house and playing as pairs. Could be really good TV especially with parents sticking up their child etc. Bit rather thena stand alone series I think this should be a twist for normal BB.

You should watch 'Bachelor Pad', it is pretty much this (American-style Big Brother cast with former dating show contestants, which ends up as a contest between different pairs).

They did a "secret pairs" twist in America that worked well, but all strangers is still the best.
