A synopsis has been released for The Hangover Part III.
Production has now begun on the third and final instalment in the comedy series, which will once again be directed by regular helmer Todd Phillips.
The brief synopsis says: "This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off."
Series stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms will all reprise their roles, as will Heather Graham, Sasha Barrese, Sondra Currie, Mike Tyson and Ken Jeong, while John Goodman joins the cast in a small antagonistic role.

Not much of a reveal other than no weddings or bachelor parties involved. They should have let it rest with part 2 tbh
Should have let it rest after the first one you mean

I liked the bit where they got drunk and forgot everything

I hope they aren't sticking to the exact same format as the first two. Accidentally take mind-erasing drug, madcap hijinks ensue, Mike Tyson punches someone. Something new please.

Sounds like they'll be going on a road trip. Road trip films are always the best.

Not even watched the second one. The first one was only just watchable.

The first one was hilarious and has been every time I've watched it since.
The second one was slightly amusing the first time (basically just Chow) and wasn't remotely funny the second time.
If they continue this decline, they should be leaving it well alone.

I have a slight feeling the third one will be exactly the same as the first two, with or without the wedding connections.
Its a bit like final destination...same film with ever so slightly different scenarios.

Well even if theres no wedding related plot, theyre still going to wake up in a filthy hotel room and try to piece together the night before, probably involving an animal and some gangsters somewhere along the way. Hence the name: The Hangover.

for heavens sake WB let.it.die.
It's too limited a concept to drag out for 3 films, if it's anything but them waking up not being able to remember the night it'll defeat the point of it :suspect:
