Why would he though? It would have defeated the entire point of auditioning in the first place. All that effort of going through The X Factor machine just to walk out on the top prize just a year or so after winning? :)

XFactor was the platform he needed,he had been in a group for a few years before,he has said he didn't want to do stuff that he was told to do,he wanted to do his own stuff,I cant see ANYTHING wrong in that,XFactor was his platform and contrary to what some want to believe he was grateful for that,some people would say they hated the song even if they didn't,they wouldn't want to dent their street cred now would they?It really is not a problem though is it,some like him ,some dont,that's about it really.:xyxwave:
