TV shows CANCELLED before their time!

It's happened to pretty much all of us; you get hooked onto a TV show, watch it religiously, then it's suddenly cancelled and a proper ending is never written for it, leaving you feeling empty and slightly annoyed.


The two shows that come to my mind are Survivors and Heroes. Was gutted when these got cancelled and never given a proper ending. :(

Only two I've watched that have been cancelled are The Unit and The Event.

First half of season of The Event was terrible, second half was great but it had already lost most of its viewers by then. And The Unit was brilliant and had decent ratings.. no idea why they cancelled it.

They never gave a reason as to why they cancelled The Unit, it was still getting good ratings in the US too.

Heroes was amazing but after series 3 (which was destroyed by the writers' strike) it turned to complete crap... they ran out of ideas fast as soon as they started giving out powers like "HE CAN'T DIE", "HE CAN STEAL EVERYONE'S POWERS" :( It really pissed me off because they WERE introducing amazing characters - Maya, Elle, so on... and then just killing them off and giving their power to ****ing Sylar :bored:

The only ones I can think of that were actually cancelled... Psychoville, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip (only 1 season!?), Sugar Rush and Beautiful People.

Final scene of Heroes set up another season but it got cancelled so kind of left as a cliffhanger, Freaks and Geeks should of gotten more than 1 season as should have The Event and Flashforward

The creators chose to end The Wire I think, I know that's what happened with Inbetweeners. It's better to leave an audience wanting more then to run a show into the ground.

It literally aired two episodes and was then cancelled, which was gutting because it was SO addictive. It's the only tv show I've ever downloaded the next episoxe and I was too gutted that it got cancelled :(

Almost, They recasted Daisy and Mandy Patkin's Character wasn't there.

Plot is basically there's a new boss and George and the gang try to get used to it. Basically things go wrong when the new guy shows up.

George has to collect her sister's Boyfriend soul but doesn't make it to him in time and she reveals herself to her sister as well in order to collect his soul. And at the end she gets a corner office at Happy Time and becomes the new boss of the group.

The show is currently being shown on Chiller here in the US. Midway through season 1 right now.

I always thought Arrested Development was one of those Family Guy type deals where it was cancelled for about 2 years and due to public outrage was brought back... didn't know it was still off-air (for now). I'd like it more if it was funnier :/ the cast and characters are great but I just don't like Jason Bateman. Really not funny enough to be main billing.

Was one of the actors planning on leaving the show? if so then the producers might have been worried that the show would lose alot of ratings.
