Bromance seems to be the friendship type du jour. Even Harvey contrived and played up to it with Ashley to get "awww" factor. Female voters dont "awwww" female friendships. So what about female/ male frienships (platonic).
Have there been many male/ female between attractive straight HMs where theres been no attraction just platonic friendship. For example this year Siobhan was friends with Conor. Can't count Adam n Lauren as he fancied her (as did LukeA but marriage curbed enthusiasm). Bb8 Carols friendship with Ziggy n Liam doesnt count because to be honest they'd never fancy her and BB9 Sophie/ Rodrigo not count as he 100% was into guys (hes admitted the bi thing was nonsense.)
