from addiction to recovery - Russel Brand 21.09.12

first and for-most,
Russel dose not float my boat,
i despise the man,
hair, dress sense, even the goat.
i have seen him,
in Hampstead he dose rome,
he is a attraction,
i have even seen the press camped outside his home.
back to the documentary,
it was so blunt,
for him to speak so openly and honestly,
tells me its no publicity stunt.
seeing the footage,
OMG was it horrific,
this is what the "young" need to see,
the hardcore of "drugs" honest and pacific.
then the contact,
i saw the "rush" in Brand,
that feeling is still there,
he was different when it was in his hand.
thank you very much,
with Russel i can now relate,
this was a fantastic insight,
one vital step to solving the drug debate.

( i must admit i did not particularly like Russel but after watching the show last night i suppose he has won me round and i now respect the guy. this is purely for the strength he has to keep what he has made and having a addictive personality. but the question i want to no is - did anyone else see this show and what are your views on him now ?)

Didn't watch it. Can't abide the man and I do think this is like everything else in his life: a publicity stunt.

Give it a few years down the line and he'll have conquered another addiction.

Am I lacking in empathy for him? Yes, 100%.

I can't stand him, he is an egomaniac. Theres something very unnerving about him that I can't put my finger on.

For who, serial killers? he comes from a council estate but talks like a 18th century courtier.
Has delusions of grandeur and a vile temper.
My prediction? in the gutter by 50 :joker:

I get the exact same vibes from him - there's that ''something aint right'' and I don't mean as in 'a few sandwiches short of a picnic' ... more something more sinister.

Just watched it. Was pretty good really and agreed with his views of methadone. I'm glad it just wasn't about showing graphic drug use like some docs to, he was definitely just trying to get to the route of the problem.
