Breaking up into about 10 pieces i thought it was a plane breaking up or exploding until i just looked on twitter and saw everybody talking about it they were bright as hell with long tails heading towards sheffield way.
It lit a weird green colour.

We saw one a few months ago, it was actually quite big and we also thought it was a plane on fire.

Lee_Oldfield: Don't panic about the comet you all saw in the sky tonight... It's just that flying 'X' from the #xfactor titles doing a rehearsal run.

I see a meteor the other night. Thought it was a firework.

Amazing when you catch things like this.

um hum. Superman saved us this time and managed to break the meteor that was heading our way, next time...we might not be so lucky. Isn't earth abput due for a wipeout anyway? Something significant has always happened every 2 thousand years.

breaks into the saturdays song and dance-I miss missing you..sometimes..*leg out, ass out in slow mo*

I didn't see this but wish I had.....mind you, I'd have probably thought it was fireworks rather than realising it was anything other.

Mabye it's the Marsians chucking back all the debris and crap that we keep dumping to float around the place..... they've decided to have a clear out and fire it all back to us !
