Police have arrested a suspected intruder at Rihanna's California home.

Neighbours living close to the singer's luxury mansion in Pacific Palisades called in authorities after witnessing activity inside the property, according to TMZ.com.

I am not in any way shape or form hoping that he hits her again, I hope to god that he has learnt from his mistakes. My point is is that people are far too forgiving just because Rihanna is. A rhinoceros that arrived in Israel last week to join the Ramat Gan safari has been named Rihanna, after the R&B star.

The safari announced on Tuesday that, despite having received dozens of suggestions from the public for Israeli names, the half-ton rhino will be called Rihanna, after the sexy Barbados-born performer. The name was proposed by one of the air-crew who helped fly Rihanna to Israel last Thursday from a game reserve in Pretoria, South Africa.

Safari spokeswoman Sagit Horowitz told the Times of Israel that Rihanna — the rhino — is doing well after her flight and is settling in nicely on a mixed diet of local food and supplies that came with her from Africa.

Rihanna — the singer — performed in Tel Aviv in May 2010, on her “Last Girl on Earth” European tour. She helped Scouts and volunteers in Tel Aviv paint the walls of a meeting center, and visited Jerusalem’s Church of the Holy Sepulcher and the Western Wall, where she put a note in the cracks — possibly not asking for a rhino to be subsequently named after her.

The last rhinoceros to arrive at the wildlife park was also named after a singer, Israel’s Keren Peles.

Rihanna has revealed that she expects to start a family in the next five years.

The 'Diamonds' singer told Elle that she also hopes to be "healthy and happy", with a career that doesn't centre around touring.

She said: "[In five years] I will probably have a kid. And I'm praying I can go on vacation for a good month. And I'll have set some things up so I don't have to tour for the rest of my life, even though I love touring.

"I want health and happiness in five years. I want to be healthy and happy."

Rihanna also opened up about the nature of her relationship with on-off boyfriend Chris Brown, saying that he is her "best friend".

"Right now that's just what we want, a great friendship that's unbreakable. Now that we're adults we can do this right. We got a fresh start and I'm thankful for that," she said.

Rihanna also revealed that she is "terrified" of her mum, who has criticised her for oversharing her life on Instagram.


Sounds like she wants a residency deal somewhere so she doesn't have to travel.

Rihanna has been forced to cancel her concert in Boston tonight.

The singer has contracted laryngitis and her performance at the TD Garden has been postponed, according to TMZ.

"Unfortunately, following her sold out concert on Friday, Rihanna has contracted laryngitis and per doctor's instruction is unable to perform this evening," a Live Nation spokesperson said.

Rihanna kicked off her 'Diamonds' world tour in the US on Friday (March 8), playing to a sold-out crowd at the First Niagra Centre, Buffalo.

She is scheduled to play a show in Baltimore on Tuesday, which Live Nation has confirmed will go ahead as planned.

The Boston concert will be rescheduled for fans holding tickets.

"So we did 'Nobody's Business' for her album, and then I wrote a song, it's called 'Put It Up.'
