TiBB BB

I had an idea about how to create a TiBB BB as many virtual BBs aren't too successful.
The way I thought of doing it was just by asking TiBB members who want to take part to audition themselves in 1 post on the TiBB forum then a panel decide who they want to put into the TiBB BB house (the panel could be TiBB mods maybe?).
The housemates (members) who are in the TiBB BB house cannot post anywhere else but in the TiBB BB thread and in the Diary Room thread when BB asks them to come to the diary room thread.
Then either every day or every week, 1 member is evicted. This is decided by a poll which the housemates aren't allowed to look at.
Then the panel could set regular tasks for the housemates and the outcome of these tasks, plus interaction between the housemates in the TiBB BB thread could help us decide who we want to win TiBB BB.
What does everyone think? Any other suggestions?

Then they could open a thread about auditions, and choose some virtual housemates.
Then the other members can vote.

Thanks everyone, I thought quite hard about it, the thing is that the members have to be prepared to isolate themselves from the rest of the forum otherwise it won't be that good.
I thought that if housemates are caught posting in any other threads then that could be a formal warning or automatic nomination.
Hopefully when James comes on he could organise all the auditioning threads maybe.

Depends when it is, cause if its after BB, there wont be much to discuss on the forum. So, It would better to isolate members then becuase they wont miss much

Depends when it is, cause if its after BB, there wont be much to discuss on the forum. So, It would better to isolate members then becuase they wont miss much

You still post it's just you only post in the TiBB BB thread and in the Diary Room thread when BB calls you to it.
BB will have to be elected by poll as well.

I thought about that and wondered whether the mods could do a thing where only the housemates are allowed to post in the TiBB BB thread, and enter some code so the housemates can't post anywhere else apart from the TiBB BB thread and the Diary Room thread. :thumbs:

I think you should have people volunteer to be big brother, you could have a few older members do it.

You'd need a Big Brother, a Davina, someone to verify nominations + votes, someone to think up tasks, at least 10 "housemates", a schedule of events, it'd need to be planned very carefully, like when evictions would take place, specifics of tasks etcetera. I'd be happy to help as I rarely post on here anyways.

We've thought about, and been asked about doing VBBs before, but decided against it. I think we thought before that with some others people lose interest in them and they fizzle out. I've never been involved in one so I don't really know how they work in practise.

But if you want to start one here that's fine. Keep all the posts to a few threads on the Chat and Games forum.

I'll move the auditions thread there.

This is a great idea sol! Hopefully it'll happen, and if you do do it try to do it nearer the end of BB for the few weeks left of the summer; that way more people will stay on the forum even after BB is over...(not only is it a great idea but it also means I'll definitely be around to take part in it properly! :tongue:). Even if you start straightaway though it's still a great idea! :thumbs:
